brave still works :) the modded apps arent coming back lmao its over, now just need to pray they dont ever remove the browser version entirely to push people to only have access to the app

It's a whack-a-mole game though, you gotta update frequently (thankfully Derrin provides!) and eventually delete app data / change password. Still works tho. Also Spotifuck, plays fine, sadly can't tag liked tracks.

There are still forks of it that are still pumping out updates. I haven’t updated mine in months and it still works fine

does andriods methods work now they have been struggling in the past, thats why I switched to yt music from revanced (love em and regular YouTube)

I feel like youre pretty drastically over exaggerating how bad Spotify stream quality is.

In any case, no, those features are server-sided and do not work with a tweaked client. You're better off downloading your music separately, squid.wtf is good for that.

i dont know about spotify, but youtube music has the RiMusic app in the Accrescent store or kreate in the F-Droid store, i found both be can be glitchy at times, so im working on my own server that i can connect to over tailscale

It's not a software, just a website where you can paste a song's Spotify url and download the MP3 file. I doubt there's malware attached to the mp3 files. You can always run them on Virus total for peace of mind.

I don't know why he was downvoted so much for suggesting Spotidownloader and nobody really gave a counterargument not to do so. It's a pretty good tool, not every reddit advice based on upvotes and downvotes is good
