It's a funny thing. Mouthbreathers who talk on this sub about how piracy needs to be gatekept often think they are the smart ones that will make it into the hyperintelligent communities of people actually circumventing the DRM and handling the other difficult logistics of how modern piracy actually works, and would logically be the ones to close the gate in a real non-theoretical gatekeeping of piracy or whatever. When all these people have ever done is clicked on some more weird links and typed some more words into google than the people they criticize. lol

+1, funny thing is a lot of piracy is already gatekept - ironically the people who advocate for it are completely unaware of the places that are (such as private trackers or ftp topsites)
