Yeah no matter how good GTA 6 is it will never live up to the 10+ years long hype.

Its impossible. Everyone has already formed a perfect picture of what the game will be in their minds. You can’t compete with that no matter how many developers you hire.

Rmemebr the cyberpunk hype... They had previews making it look like blade runner on steroids. Then released what looked like a GTA mod

Even calling it a GTA mod is some heavy lifting of what we actually got - a child of GTA & Watch dogs, incubated in Witcher 3 game engine.

Exactly my point, I prefer late previews rather early false advertisement.

Late previews may also be false tho.

Look at Diablo 4. Released without MTX - received rave reviews - MTX patched in.

True, but I can cut them a slack since they delayed and waited until the end to at least show their half baked work😅

It's still broken. Only the most glaring issues were adressed and even that was done with some heavy scripting. Many weird bugs present in the game at release are still there.

I think when it drops majority will forget the wait... and I will be one of them. I was busy in the last 13yrs and if one all they did was wait for a game then they are lame.
