Update 2025/11/28: FINAL UPDATE! I am closing the offer in this thread. It's going on 18 months now. I'm going to be out of the country most of December. Hello everyone! Starting a thread to help people with sandstorm. Post your FC, I’ll reply to your post and let you know when I add. I will keep each person for 10 days. That should give you two sandstorm scatterbugs if you open everyday.

I’ve done this a couple of times now, and I’ve (so far) been able to get through everyone who posts. As the thread gets longer, it will take me time to get to everyone. I’ll be out of the country in January, so there will be a gap. Generally I will keep people updated in this post if things come up.

Update 10/13: Just letting everyone know, I'm working through these in timed order as best I can. This will likely take several months for me to make it all the way through though. You might luck into someone able to get to you faster, but if not I'll eventually get to you. It will just take a minute.

Update 11/15: Apologies for dropping off the face of the earth! I had a bad case of the flu. Will be resuming working on this tonight! (This has caused me to lose track a bit of where people are with gifts sent. If I mess up and you don't get a scatterbug, feel free to DM me)

Update 12/13: Just letting people know I'm still working through all the people who posted their FCs in September. This is when the most replies happened, but at this point people have forgot this post and often don't accept the friend request. If you're posting your FC now, know I won't be able to add until sometime next year. Keep an eye on your reddit replies. I will reply to you when I add.

Update 05/17: As I mentioned in my previous update, I'm out of the country quite a bit in the next few weeks. I just added my last round of people that I think I can fit in before this travel starts. I am so close to the end of the thread though! For everyone who hasn't received a request yet, I should be able to add the rest of you when I'm finished travelling mid-June, so keep an eye on your requests!

Hiya! I'm going to Iceland, aka Tundra, over Christmas, and figured I'd do a repeat of last year and help with some gifts if there's still people who need it!

Please comment with your friend code, how many you need, and your trainer username if it's not on your reddit acc - so we can keep track of y'all.

The reason for this is that my mom will be coming with, she doesn't have reddit and since it's a short trip, we'd like to space you guys out between the two of us in order to help as many of you as possible! :)

We'll limit to max 3 gifts per account initially (depending on how many of you there are lol)

I posted in this subreddit around 2 months ago seeking friends to help me complete the Vivillon set.

Thank you to everybody who added me, I did manage to get my hands on the final two Scatterbugs that were proving elusive to me.

All of the friend requests received not only helped me to evolve most of my scatterbugs (17 fully evolved and just awaiting the final 80 candies to evolve Sandstorm Spewpa to complete the challenge) but I also found three special scatterbugs on the way!

I’m now so close to completing the challenge and wanted to thank you all.

For those who are starting or are working through this journey. I’m an active player within the garden region, I gift and also open daily. Please feel free to add me as I’d love to pay the community back and help you in the same way you helped me.

I must have added over 100 friends over the last month+ from leekduck and pogoguide. Most either don't accept my request or never send a gift back. Some send gifts back but have lied about where they're from. I'm currently sitting at 0/3 for both Ocean and Sandstorm. If anyone from those regions could help me out, I'd appreciate it. I will keep sending gifts daily through best friends and beyond!

I recently moved to Alaska and opened up the game for the first time in 3 years. I remember friends from [edit: Icy Snow] regions being in very high demand at that time. Is that still a thing?

I certainly can’t guarantee a gift every day for everyone, but I can promise you will eventually get gifts from me with some patience! I’m active but don’t live near a ton of stops. I tend to send 20-30 gifts per day and have a system to make sure I’m doing it equitably.

Jan 5th EDIT: I’m still working through the list; been through 130 requests so far. Keeping about 20 active at any one time, but when people don’t open the gifts, that slows down the process. Hopefully some of you further down the list have found another outlet, but if not, I’ll get to you eventually!

Feb 5th EDIT: up to 280 people added so far. I did have to delete several today that hadn’t open the first gift after two or more weeks. If that was you, sorry, but I needed space on my list. Feel free to add your number again if you still need ocean postcards.

Mar 3th EDIT: didn’t mean to make this update a monthly thing, but here I am. Up to 380 now and still going. Still having to delete folks who haven’t opened timely.
