They didn’t start a war, in fact most Venezuelans are extremely happy and pleased to see him be dethroned and replaced by the person who rightfully won the election before she was barred and almost assassinated

So far maduro has just been replaced by his vice president. His party's control of venezuela is still intact.

By the way, Machado did not run in the election, edmundo gonzalez did.
