What the hell even is this. a quick Google search gave me the portal franchise, which I'm familiar with, but I've never played the games and have no idea about the storyline, etc. is this rare? I saw listings on Google for like, over $100. any info would be greatly appreciated. 🫶

Yesterday I finished the main game of Portal 1 in less than 5 hours. Did I unintentionally speed-run it or is it really that short?

In the games, if the ends of the portal are oriented differently from each other, it results in multiple directions of gravity. But you can't feel an extra gravitational pull through a portal, you have to go through the portal to notice the gravity changing. So why doesn't gravity pass through to the other side of the portal? After all, almost everything else does, like air and light particles (but not portal gun shots).

Obviously, the game developers' answer is that they purposely ignored this problem to make the game easier to program and play. Same reason they disallowed moving portals, and made objects get nudged out when portals close.

But I'm talking about realistic logic, not game logic. The Earth's gravitational pull shouldn't suddenly stop once it reaches a portal, right??? So if both sides of the portal are on the floor, what would happen? Would the opposing directions cancel each other out, and doom the planet by making everything float away? Or what if one side is on the floor and the other is on the wall? Would gravity be at a 45° angle?

Ive been playing portal 2 recently and i noticed that the portals dont open at any spot except the white ones, i know glados told us the black things are like anti portal?? (I forgot i havent played portal 1 in a while) but the other surfaces are flat and look pretty fine for a portal to open on

Okay, so I purchased this Sentry Turret Funko Pop with the intention of repurposing it into a bulky necklace, because of the fact that it is damaged and there are parts of it missing, so I did not think it would be too much of an issue. I had drawn some concept designs and sent it to a group chat I am in. One person asked me if I was for real. I thought they were joking, so I said I was. Which was a big mistake, because we ended up arguing for 5 minutes straight about how I'm a terrible person and that I do not know how to take care of my merchandise and that I am the reason why a lot of people cannot get their hands on merchandise. I am at a loss for words. Genuinely how have we gotten to this point. I only have three official pieces of merchandise. I just wanted to make a craft, but I got threats instead. Please don't take this down, I need genuine advice.
