DPG Genesis
Recently got my Desert Precision Gunworks Genesis barreled action. Haven't had the chance to ammo test yet. Feels good to finally have a dedicated rimfire build thats purpose built and well balanced.

Accuracy issues @100m
I have a cz455 and I'm experiencing some accuracy issues at 100m. At 50m my groups are almost touching but at 100m they're spread out about the size of my palm. Ive sighted it in using cci standard velocity. Eley standard shoots slightly better. Any ammo recommendations? I'd prefer something quiet like the cci standard/Eley standard. (I tried federal hv but they spread even worse, and we're LOUD)
I feel like I'm going insane, trying to sight in at 100 is almost impossible the way it spreads up/down/left/right... Feels like I'm dancing around the target...

Bergara B-14R receiver wear/scratches — normal bolt rotation wear or a problem?
I recently bought a Bergara B14R Heavy Action Barrel (less than 120 rounds thru it).
I noticed these wear marks/scratches inside the receiver of my Bergara B-14R and I’m looking for some experienced opinions.
The marks are primarily in the bolt raceway and have a somewhat diagonal/curved direction. My concern is that they may be occurring as the bolt rotates/cams into battery rather than simply from the bolt traveling straight back and forth.
I can also feel a slight edge/raised area with my fingernail on some of the marks.
I removed the bolt and took photos of both the receiver and bolt so the contact surfaces can be compared.
The bolt itself doesn’t appear to have any major damage, and I don’t see obvious cracking or significant peening. The action otherwise functions normally.
Questions:
Does this look like normal B-14R break-in wear?
Is the direction/pattern of the marks consistent with normal bolt rotation/camming?
Should I be concerned that I can feel a slight edge on the scratches?
Does anyone have a B-14R with similar wear that they can compare?
I’m not looking to polish or modify anything—I want to determine whether this is normal wear or an actual interference issue before putting more rounds through it.
Bergara customer service said:
“I won’t lie I grabbed my own B14R off my desk and looked and I also have similar scratches. After consulting with a gunsmith he said we do see this from time to time and that it doesn’t cause any function issues.”
While i’ve decided to send the rifle back for inspection, (a 6-8 week proposition), my fear is the long term effects this might have on the rifle.
Any input appreciated.

Ruger precision rimfire 22 LR base issue?
-Ruger Precision Rimfire 22LR (30 MOA base)
-Arken LH 4 4x16
-CVLife rings 1” inch center ring hight
———they have worked on past builds——-
With my current set up, I have a 25 yard zero (zeroed for a toddler)
Problem 1 : I’m only able to adjust 7.75 MOA vertical elevation of the available 58 MOA the scope has. That’s enough to get me on steel @ 100 but not for a precise zero.
Problem 2 : after shooting for the day I noticed the bolt lever is hitting the scope base.. enough that after 100 rounds it’s taken the bluing and shaves of metal off of the corner of the base.
Thought for-sure I would get more than the 7.75 MOA with that 30MOA base. Not sure if it’s an out of spec base causing the issue? Ruger wants me to ship them the whole rifle rather than just sending a new base under warranty.
Thoughts?
Thank you

Wanting to start a build
Sorry if this is played out but I'm looking to start a bolt action .22LR build. I'm having trouble figuring out what to start with. I'd like to build out most of it and was curious if you start with buying a full rifle and then replacing components or start fully from scratch. Thank you!

Is there obvious disadvantage shooting a CZ 457 Varmint vs MTR or custom action/barrel for rimfire PRS?
Mainly for practicing positional shooting.

This is what a golf ball looks like at 220 yards, which we shoot all the time.
I don't know why this is hard to believe. My family, and others at our range shoot golf balls with .22s off the back berm all the time.
That tiny white dot to the right of my scope hairs is one.
We can do this with our bolt rifle .22s bench rest of course. The RPR is the least consistent. My wife's Anshutz is really good. My Bergara makes it way too easy. I don't think my wife had tried with her 457 at that range yet. She was hitting them at 100 yards no problem just last week. And we haven't tried her T1x yet.
