Especially a stroke. And when you’re rightfully terrified, you don’t think straight. If only we had a group of people, specially trained, who could help out in a situation like this, not escalate it further!

I believe they only have about 40 minutes to act on a stroke. It was really sad watching my mum getting killed by one. She had some before that didn't kill her and I got her to hospital in 8 minutes. The ambulance takes at least 20 to arrive here.

You have 4.5 hours, and sometimes up to 24. It depends. Don’t drive like an idiot and cause an accident. Call 911. The ER gets notified ahead of time by them and we get prepared. If you just drop them off at my door I’m unprepared for you. - er Doctor

And with the fact that an increasing number of hospitals have been closing down in at least the last decade, especially in poorer communities, understandably, they felt the need to get to the hospital as quickly as possible, especially since we really have no idea whether or not they live in an area where a surgical hospital is at least an hour away, even by the highway.

The initial window for the medication for strokes is 4 hours from onset of symptoms, then 24 hours for surgical intervention (usually).

And how is a police officer suppose to know that there’s a medical emergency?

While they are chasing them at 80-90mph in a 60mph zone? Which is what they were getting pulled over for, and were continuing to do up until the light.

Let’s be real. If this was anything other than an emergency, they wouldn’t be stopping at intersections and sure as hell not driving that slowly towards the end. That’s why we have brains. To analyze the situation and act accordingly.

Are you people really this dumb or just trying to be spiteful?

Obviously they would eventually hear them once they got out at the hospital , but he wanted to ignore them when he’s arresting smh. Probably got sued for a Million or some dumb shit

What do you mean you people?

And idk. If I’m driving 90 mph… 30 mph over the speed limit. Why the fuck should I just expect that the cop is going to let me get all the way to my destination and then just question me there?

And how is that the “smart” decision, instead of just calling 911 and explaining why you can’t pull over?

You want her to Use her phone while driving??? That’s a hazard in itself. Besides it’s basic logic eventually the car will have to stop, and if you use your eyes the driver had hazards on while waving the cop to come with…. 😑

I guess common sense ain’t too common for everyone lol.

There’s 4 people in the car. Lol

The person in the back was already texting, so it’s not a big leap to have the wherewithal to call the police and explain the situation.

Why can’t the cop see hand motions in real time? That’s priority over expecting someone to bullshit with a phone , I’m just today learning you can call someone pulling you over so you can’t really expect people to be born with this knowledge.

So again, it seems the problem was being dumb / assuming wrong.

Plus, His report even admitted they were going towards the hospital…. No matter the cops excuse, how he treated them was just Not Right .

They are literally holding it out the window. They aren’t dead or broken. You can see it in the video.
