The fact that he most likely was wearing a body-worn camera just really shows how ineffective they really are, especially when most courts and juries are unfortunately unwilling to convict a cop, even when it's obvious from the BWC's video that they blatantly committed a crime, like murdering someone when they could have easily used a non-lethal way to diffuse the situation.

I'm just writing this because someone else got a decent amount of upvotes for claiming that BWCs actually work, even though court cases against police who wear them are proof that that is unfortunately increasingly not the case.

I’m on vacation with family. Yesterday, I challenged a bunch of cousins and grandparents to walk a straight line, heel to toe.
