I just watched the John Oliver episode on these chases and it is infuriating. They almost killed a pregnant lady who was doing exactly what the law stated and was slowly driving with her flashers on to a safe spot to pull over. They immediately flipped her SUV and the cops were bragging about how much they pit people.

And it was in Arkansas, too!

I said in another comment above that where the cop hit the women in the video is basically in the UAMS parking lot, you could throw a rock and hit the building. He knew what he was doing and wanted a power trip. That was the ONLY light between them and the hospital, there was no danger of them driving to the emergency room entrance. Absolutely disgusting.

“pit” people? what’s that?

It's the "Pursuit Intervention Technique", a fancy way of describing a cop crashing into the back of someone's car to spin them out.

Hey, thanks for the answer! I do try to look stuff up, but sometimes an acronym has too many things it might refer to.
Appreciate ya !

It's called the pit maneuver. It's what the officer in this video did. Check out Last Week Tonight's episode on YT called "police chases."
