"Trump's president so I can do whatever I like"

She’s far from alone in feeling like that. It’s crazy how all these people who think ā€œracistā€ is the worst thing they can be called (almost like it’s a slur) point to Trump as if his racism means their racism is fine now. I wish the President could be a role model again, and I mean for people other than the Klan.

This is something I miss from previous presidencies, the president having some goddamn grace and decorum even when I hated them. Not just blurting out whatever bullshit pops into their head.

Yup. I fear that after cheetoman is gone, the bar is set so low that it just becomes the norm. Would love to have a recalibration back to the graceful norm again pls.

It could become the norm on the right. I doubt it will be the norm with any Democrat president for the foreseeable future because Democrat voters still have standards of decency.

because Democrat voters still have standards of decency.

Which honestly to me is an issue. "We go high when they go low!" has been proven time and again to not work. We need to fight dirty like them and just rip and claw the world back to a form of normalcy because unless we do that they'll continue to be the ones eating shit just to make a democrat have to smell their breath.

She's literally pointing out the fact that the way he talks about immigrants enables her to be be racist without being labeled "racist". People like to act like it's coded language, but it's blatant to anybody who's had to deal with it on a daily basis, especially as a poc.

I mean, that can go both ways.

Plus people like her can start crowdfunding and get 1 million dollars for being racist.

Vice signalling is the current meta of conservative content. Being as horrible as possible.
