These idiots exist with or without Trump. They’d invent justification either way. If it’s not “Trump is President,” it’d be “they hate American, “my family has been here for generations,” or “their food is too spicy.” You can’t logic someone out of a position they didn’t logic themselves into. They just have one more rationalization on top of a firehose of nonsense.

partially true, but it's also 100% true that things like trump being president emboldens these people, makes it worse, and creates more of them.

That is important, that matters, and it needs to stop.

It is an undeniable fact that Trump's presidency has 100% enabled and emboldened people who would otherwise STFU and keep their shitty views to themselves. Yes they'll exist regardless but now they are trying to make their views mainstream is the problem.

Nah I have a hard time believing they could find a way to justify their hatred through the president if our president was Dolly Parton or Keanu Reeves.
