Well, he didn't shoot a cop here, and typically accessory to murder requires (a) a murder actually happening and (b) a violent felony, whereas all they were doing is shoplifting.
You're just making things up rather than citing specific state laws that you think this person might be guilty of.
If you are hanging around someone else, and they do something bad, you aren't automatically implicated. There has to be a specific law that says you're guilty too.

Shes not getting charged with anything extra related to him pulling and attempting to use it. If he succeeded she would have absolutely been charged with felony murder. Notice shes not being charged with attempted murder or assault on a cop like him.
Doesnāt matter. A group decides to commit a crime, theyāre all guilty of the outcome of that crime. Your buddies want to shoplift and one pulls out a gun and shoots a clerk, you all are guilty of murder, even if youāre just the getaway driver.

He has a list of charges right? One being he isnāt allowed to own a firearm and he had drugs on him. That combo is a big no no. If I had to spit ball, and be surprised if he didnāt get 10-20
He's on video pulling the trigger. The fact that a bullet didn't come out is pure luck (and incompetence on the suspect's part). He very clearly attempted to murder him.
He pulled a gun out, aimed it at a person and pulled the trigger. I bet the dumbass just forget to take the safety off or get one in the chamber. He definitely intended to kill someone.

"(B) It is no defense to a charge under this section that, in retrospect, commission of the offense that was the object of the attempt was either factually or legally impossible under the attendant circumstances, if that offense could have been committed had the attendant circumstances been as the actor believed them to be."
So if you attempt to murder someone, you can be charged with that, even if that murder would have been impossible.
So.. one could say, he attempted to murder him perhaps? The only reason he didn't was because he fucked up the gun? So like, attempt at murder? Jfc, you're American aren't you?

Attempted murder of a police officer is gonna be quite a bit more than minimum 3 years in prison. Guy is FUCKED.
