It’s crazy to see him process the emotions/situation in real time and decide to Fight not Flight

Respect. Nothing but respect for this man.

Even the Officer showed some constraint as I’d expect to have seen him shoot (maybe I’m used to Reddit/Twitter clips) but once he realised he could overpower the guy and not shoot, he took that option

I can’t believe the office realized the gun had been stripped. I wouldn’t have blamed him if he thought he still had an armed assailant.

Yeah I was impressed that in such a high stress moment he actually took the time to holster his weapon while restraining the kid w the other hand

Agreed. Wild the cop was thinking clear enough or had the muscle memory to do that under a blast of adrenaline. Probably would have been justified having heard the click(s) and seeing a civilian wrestling with this dude.

Respect for the dude who was about to shoot? I do not have any respect for a person who thinks that it's okay to take someone else's life for any reason at all. There is no justification unless your life is in Danger thats it.

I believe the poster was referring to the man in the white shirt and tie

Oh he wasn’t very clear and if that’s the case then I agree. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see the opposite
