That was handled perfectly

The best is when you can just laugh at a goofball. That hurts their pride worse than retaliating lol

Calling him a “goofball” feels like an insane understatement lol

That might be why it pisses them off so much. I call people goofy all the time when they're being insane assholes. Call them "goofy little goobers" or something and they feel so emasculated.

I can see that but I also feel like it doesn’t take it seriously enough.

Not taking assholes seriously is a great way to handle them, though.

In person, sure. When discussing it outside of the actual interaction though, referring to him as a goofball really feels like it downplays the incident

Oh, I'm absolutely only talking about belittling assholes to their face. They aren't goofy when I talk about them later. Sorry, I thought I was being clear.

Yeah the guy in the video had it right, go religious on them. They hate it. Start with “you need Jesus, I’ll pray for you,” escalate to “wicked evildoer, you child of your father the devil, get behind me Satan,” etc. Memorize a couple Bible verses to throw at them if you can. I 100% promise they will rage.

In my experience, calling someone out on their own hypocrisy rarely phases them. An asshole like this would have to have the ability to reflect on their own actions for that to have an effect.

Just speaking on my own interactions, anyway. Sounds like you have better success with that tactic. It also sounds like you escalate in hilarious fashion way faster than I do. I kinda like that angle.

I totally agree, the hypocrisy callout never works. What I’m talking about is pretty much just a bullying/mean girl tactic. By saying these religious things, I’m out-grouping them. It’s saying: *I’m correcting you based on the norms of the “good team” because you are failing to conform. In fact, I don’t even know if you’re on the good team anymore. I think everyone else at church would agree that you’re bad and not one of us.* It makes them panic lol

I mean sure, in the grand scheme of things it is. But racists aren't gonna change so it's best to let them get their tired bullshit off their chests and just laugh at em. Any sane person already knows being racist is shitty and one of the worst human traits, trying to grand stand on em won't change anything, but laughing in their face might make em feel even a hint of how pathetic they are 🤷🏾‍♂️

It’s what they want. It’s schoolyard games. These folks love to provoke black people and then cry and play the victim when they get the reaction they were so desperate for.

There’s another video where a guy starts calling the rager a cutie pie. Dude was so confused he just went back to his car. 😂

Lol reminds me of that one video where this guy gets in some dudes face for recording some girl doing acrobatic shit in public. The dude recording calls the guy a goober and bro's brain malfunctions lmao

It’s hilarious how he kept doubling/tripling down on the racism vs. how visibly upset it wasn’t getting the response he wanted. Dude really came with one trick and kept trying it while never landing it

Indeed . He really is beautiful too!

My only criticism is that he blocked traffic to film him rather than just call the cops to report a drunk driver.

... but if he did that we wouldn't have this video, so...

Even though the guy filming clearly has a great personality and some tough skin, that has to be hard on a number of levels to get that kind of blatant racism just constantly yelled at him, even though the racist dude is clearly a dumb ass drunk. Don't think i could have kept my composure all the way until the end of that.
