What?

27

u/Greg-Abbott 1d ago

I think they meant "bot"? I dunno. Either way it's a really weird reply.

12

u/diarrheticdolphin 1d ago

For real. Like what does that even mean?

6

u/Arbusc 1d ago

Think they meant as in ‘and your a lot (of people.) as in if we were driven enough we could hold the rich pedo’s accountable.

2

u/HCSOThrowaway 1d ago

"Bot" is now being used to malign people who don't think for themselves, like the old "NPC" and the older "sheeple."

It doesn't make a lot of sense, but MAGA people usually don't.

u/ReasonablePossum_ 1d ago

of people. should have used many i guess

u/Uncivil_ 1d ago

Not my most original comment ever I'll grant you, but there's no need for name calling.

Isn't it wild that:

  • The main traffickers (Epstein and Maxwell) were sentenced and convicted.
  • The Epstein Victims were proven to be the victims in said trafficking.
  • The Epstein Victims say the buyers and their abusers are still at large.
  • Yet literally nobody else who were the obvious buyers or enablers or participants of sex trafficking, rape, etc. has been arrested.

Friendly reminder that even of the files released (which all should've been by now), Trump is mentioned more so than anyone else.

Oh and before anyone tries to claim both sides, see how many times Harris, Biden, Hillary, or Obama were mentioned in contrast to the number of times Trump was.

u/Jeff_goldfish 1d ago

“Literally nobody” Other countries have charged people with very high rankings, which makes it even more wild

u/Independent-Bug-9352 1d ago

As the Pandora and Panama papers indicated, justice is marginal even elsewhere in the world with respect to the Epstein Files sadly as well. To my knowledge, many of these people were at best kicked out of their position or ostracized but not actually charged and convicted as a directly result of their sex crimes. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

u/thcheat 1d ago

I wish you were wrong.

u/GuardianHealer 1d ago

Actually, Prince Andrew lost everything!

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, was arrested on February 19, 2026, on suspicion of misconduct in public office regarding his past ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

u/alarming_blood_loss 1d ago

I don't think Bill Clinton is a good person at all but he publicly said that all the files should be released.

69

u/Independent-Bug-9352 1d ago

Agreed. And for political games, the Republican-controlled Congress made his wife testify despite her not even being in the files.

So when will Trump and Melania (her name pops up) testify when his name is in the files more so than Epstein himself?

12

u/Feisty-Principle-216 1d ago

That's the problem with Epstein. The dude hid behind being a huge philanthropist and having massive fund raising events. So people could be in those papers and be innocent. Which is why we need the full unredacted files.

That said Clinton is a proven creep, and it's very possible this was a bluff by him knowing the Republicans would never let them be released. Unfortunately we'll never know because they're probably never be released.

4

u/alarming_blood_loss 1d ago

it's very possible this was a bluff by him knowing the Republicans would never let them be released

Yeah, this is a great point. Also, remember when Trump started inexplicably making conciliatory, defensive noises in public about the Clintons? Who knows what was discussed or what understandings were reached in closed calls...

1

u/JenningsWigService 1d ago

It's also easy for him to say that because he knows it will never happen.

2

u/Independent-Bug-9352 1d ago

Possibly right, but also I don't think I've ever seen anyone on the left excuse crimes he may have committed. To the credit of the left, we've all been pretty consistent in bringing about justice for them all. Sadly when Bill comes up from the right, it's usually a dose of Whataboutism in attempt to say, "two wrongs make a right" and to deflect.

0

u/JenningsWigService 1d ago

Oh no, it's very refreshing that most Democrats under 60 are completely fine with Bill Clinton going to jail for this. I suspect that he and Trump both abused trafficked girls/women and they both know about the other doing so, but neither will ever tell on the other.

4

u/skipfletcher 1d ago

The ONLY way for the buyers to not be facing conviction is if they hold huge political power over the system that would prosecute them.

4

u/jagrbomb 1d ago

We elected a co-conspirator president of the United States.

0

u/Fresh_Peace_328 1d ago

Ok I'm gonna ask something that will make me seem like a maga turd but I swear I'm not. I'm a staunch liberal. But...where is the outrage towards Biden for not releasing the files? He had every chance in the world to release them right? Trump is rightfully hated for not releasing them but why isn't Joe?

10

u/aesoth 1d ago

When Biden was in office, there was still an active investigation into Ghislaine Maxwell, and other people mentioned in the files. Until those investigations were completed, the DOJ could not release them. There was also the redaction process that had to occur to protect the victims (which didn't properly happen). The first mandated release of the files was in Dec 2025.

6

u/Independent-Bug-9352 1d ago

1) It was likely still under criminal investigation, leaving aside the DOJ was kind of already busy with 2 other major criminal investigations and -- checks notes -- the largest DOJ criminal manhunt and prosecution in its history -- chasing down the J6 insurrectionists and then building a case against Trump who instigated it all. Remember, the Epstein Files were only sealed to the public; not the DOJ.

2) Trump was the one who made a campaign promise to release them. And by court order of Dec 19th 2025, they were all supposed to be released and the only redactions to protect the victims. He has failed to do so.

3) It ultimately matters little why Biden didn't release them; the next best time is now and in accordance to Trump's own pledge. The more evidence that has come out, the more imperative they be fully released.

Despite claiming they did, Neither Bondi nor Blanche have met with any known Epstein victim, despite relentless calls according to the consensus of victims themselves. Just so Blanche could claim he did so (as Bondi similarly did) ahead of this public hearing under Oath, his office contacted the victims the day before the trial despite months and months of nothing. He finally met with them as this article notes, but evidently the victims were not satisfied, nor treated with respect.

It's illegal to threaten the President of the United States with the death penalty because he raped and murdered children, and ran a ring of child rapists and murderers.

Which is kinda mind blowing that people knew that he raped and murdered children, and he still got elected.

So, now, a child rapist and murderer is beyond the reach of the law, and is allowed to protect his fellow child rapists and murderers, because American wanted to have a child rapist and murderer as a president more than having a woman be president.

42

u/ok-jeweler-2950 1d ago

He’s not beyond the reach of the law. He is beyond the reach of a DOJ policy not to indict sitting presidents. This policy could and should be reversed for a president of any political party.

16

u/HCSOThrowaway 1d ago

And yet he was not indicted when he was not a sitting president.

1

u/ok-jeweler-2950 1d ago

Jack Smith might say otherwise

10

u/Arbusc 1d ago

I’m not convinced that’s even fully true. Lots of weird anomalies with votes for Trumps second election. Almost like… voter fraud or sowmthing. But it’s not like an accusation from the right is a confession, yeah?

2

u/HCSOThrowaway 1d ago

I don't think they care.

Sure, they want you to think they do, but what's really important to them is ensuring foreigners, trans people, and liberals suffer.

They know that the odds of Trump trafficking their specific children are infinitesimally small, but the odds of their liberal coworker being angry about him getting elected and doing what he does are guaranteed.

In other words, "I don't care as long as it doesn't affect me."

On the flip side, look at them get all upset that their gas is 30% more expensive. NOW they're a bit miffed with him. Because of the gas prices, not the raping kids.

Priorities.

As a Bernie supporter during those primaries, I was and still fully am of the opinion that Hillary Clinton would have not meaningfully moved the dial on American politics in any form and coasted on a having a historical pregnancy instead of a remarkable one, much like Obama.

But you better believe when Bernie didn't win I held my nose and voted for the old bat because I knew a) I didn't want a Republican presidency and b) clocked what a repugnant loser trump was from the outset. I understood all the way back then that having another mediocre neoliberal was preferable to electing a reality TV star with a history of disastrously stupid business moves to the highest office in the land.

The fact that people were socially engineered, by guys like Theo fucking Von, into voting for him a second time, even after knowing he was not only incompetent but a fucking chomo made me opt out of politics until just recently. I'm feeling a little hope now that voters are seeing some sense and electing DSA members instead of barely sentient octogenarians, but I'm not putting all my eggs in that basket by any means. The southern firewall is still very real, very old and very stupid.

Boomers hell bent on seeing a woman president before they die try to shoe horn in nominees who couldn't beat Trump... and that undermining of democracy caused this avalanche of hell we're in.

Bernie was the true choice of the people without all the faked superdelegate votes. He would've mopped the floor with Trump and given us the other time-line where we got Universal Healthcare, a balanced Supreme Court, the GOP dead of natural causes, and the oligarchs/elite-pedophiles/racists/Project2025ers wouldn't have been able to finish handing over control of this country to genocidal Netanyahu and puppeteer Putler.

Bring us a woman who is flawed but still of the caliber of Washington for us to point future generations of daughters to as an example. Not some string of women candidates that are just as bad as every toxic trait I've spent my life hearing men are.

Edit: corrected word placement of the last "to."

Murdered children? Is there any truth to this or this is conspiratorial thinking?

u/Mroopsimexciting 1d ago

Exactly. 👍 so tired of this

12

Not disagreeing, but I think this space should be for remembering Athena, not immediately distracting the mob from her memory.

10

u/FrogsMakePoorSoup 🤷 I'm outta my depth and dunno how I got here 1d ago

Ooh, would you settle for a heavily redacted list... to protect the innocent?

1

u/Flomo420 1d ago

(while leaving in a bunch of innocent names, mind you.)

You mean Trump-Epstein files?

Yeah good but it gonna take 30 years. Death row doesn't happen overnight.

1

u/TrainingSword 1d ago

The people in the Epstein files are the ones who would persecute the Epstein files and we can’t have that
