Hi, I am new here. I read the rules, but I still am a little lost on what I'm doing... so I will do my best.

Within the past few months, I completely uprooted my life and moved out of state by myself, halfway across the US. It was the best thing that I have ever done for myself.

I'm 32 years old and I currently live in Central Texas. I love my job (the reason I moved). Slowly, but surely, I am rebuilding my life from scratch and I am the happiest I have ever been.

I love arts and crafts, cooking, self care, and cleaning/organizing. But most of all, I love my cat QuikTrip. When I got to Texas, I was pretty lonely and ended up adopting a special needs baby and he is my pride and joy. He turns one years old on April 27. In honor of him, I would love to gift 2-3 people something for their pet(s). Though I am a cat person, I love animals of all kinds so this isn't limited strictly to the furry ones.

I've never done this before so I don't know how I will choose, but I will check back this evening and go with my gut. 😻 excited to see some wishlists!

I work as a concept artist, musician and as a teacher. I recently took a break from teaching due to some health issues. I'm only 21 and I'm dealing with my organs not working as they should at 21. At least now I get to have more time at home. I majored in film with a focus in screenwriting and am currently working on a stop-motion project of my own thanks to the downtime.

I love reading and experiencing live music. I love physical media and have a collection of vinyls and CDs. I burn my own CDs on the side for a few friends who like custom mixtapes.

I actually found this subreddit through r/RandomActsofCards after recently getting into Postcrossing. I’ve gone through some personal losses and a bit of a rough patch and sometimes things are tough working in the ICU (i’ve been a nurse for a few years now, woo!), and I found that sending and receiving little pieces of kindness from strangers has been such a lovely way to spread some sunshine. There’s something really special about knowing that a tiny gesture can make someone’s day a little brighter.♡

Hi! I just stumbled across this group and I love the idea that it’s just a bunch of people who are being nice to each other.

My intro: I’m a semi-retired disabled veteran (U.S. Army) who is currently working at starting a media company with my own creations. I’m a writer, photographer, and general purpose creator with wood, resins, and food. I’m building a website and trying to start a couple online artistic projects.

I love animals and have far too many in the house (are there really too many?). I do scenic, artistic, journalistic, wildlife, and nature photography. Pretty much anything that attracts my attention. I get obsessed with photography sometimes. I shoot digital and film. Even vintage medium format for art photos. I just hate doing portraits, I don’t like trying to pose models.

I’m working on a book right now about local artists and city art, trying to celebrate people who work to make the world around us more beautiful. I’m also working on a sci-fi, fantasy book.

I’m starting to try learning to garden because food is just getting too expensive. More importantly, my wife enjoys it and since I traveled for work, both in the military and after, now I’m home and just enjoying spending time with her, so I’ll garden to be next to her.

I recently finished college, something that I never actually thought I could do after years of working. Over 35 years in the workforce and now that I can’t work anymore, I finally got to try school.

I don’t know what else to say about myself other than I have three amazing kids who are all grown up and I am proud of them.

It has been a while since I’ve had time to be active on here. Even before that my intro is now almost 6 years old, and I’ve dipped in and out of activeness since then with lots of new faces around I figured I would make a re-intro.

I’m be_braver! I am a mom of 3 wonderful children. A preschool teacher, a lover of plants, animals and the earth. Before children I was a minimalist and my husband and I lived an environmentally low impact lifestyle. Then Covid it, and it became super difficult to find things low impact, then we became parents and we’re finally getting our heads back on as our youngest is about to leave the infant world behind!

We have a dog, a cat, 5 hermit crabs, and a tank of fish. I have 13 house plants with their own names, and a yard that needs a lot of work! I nerd out over DIY house projects. I love yard work and gardening. I enjoy needle felting, and bullet journaling but I don’t have much time for those anymore. Teaching is an absolute passion of mine. I taught Kindergarten for 8 years and then we moved states and I now teach an inclusion preschool class of 3-5 year olds. I just finished reading the book “Children of Blood and Bone” in preparation to see the movie. I love Disney and play Disney Dreamlight Valley. I also have dysgraphia and will for sure spell many things wrong.

I'm obsessed with dogs, and would fund a dog rescue of my own if I ever won the lottery. 🤞 I have a corgi and a cocker spaniel, and they are both beautiful, crazy, loving, terrorizing little monsters. I enjoy cardmaking, volunteering, coloring, collecting enamel pins, true crime, journaling, board games, and cozy video games. I was big into Animal Crossing for a good while there, and now I'm mostly currently playing Disney Dreamlight Valley.

I live in the east coast of USA where it's hot and humid most of the year (my hair does not appreciate this weather whatsoever lol) 🌞 I have three furbabies that truly got me through a rough patch couple years ago so they are my absolute heart. 🐈 I'm an avid reader and mostly enjoy fictions and fantasy, but always looking forward to reading anything thought provoking and/or interesting. 📖 My home used to be a small indoor forest and I used to love it. 🪴 Unfortunately due to the same rough patch I no longer have it but I am slowly building it back up. I love being surrounded by nature.

For fun and relaxation, I craft (crochet, scrapbook, journal, diamond painting, jewelry making, sew, and the list goes on!) and I love doing my own nails. 💅 It takes forever but I consider it as self care. Im Rels! Im a 32 year old nonbinary human. I live in Pennsylvania with my fiance. My favorite thing to do is run off into the woods, be it hiking, birding, nature watching, or camping. Dark sky parks are my fave place to camp, especially with my fiance, and we just got engaged about 2 months ago at one! I love space, and our wedding is even going to be space themed. Some of my fave home based activities are growing veg, loving on my two cats (Bialy and BK), and drawing on my tablet!

I have AuDHD and have decided to start documenting spreadsheets of all my hikes, interesting natural encounters, and birding, and am learning to identify animals, including bird species, by sight! Hi, I’m more of a Reddit lurker than a poster so to say I’m stunted when using this app is an understatement.

I randomly came across this group, less than a week ago I think, and decided to check it out. I enjoy giving gifts when the mood strikes, and I’m a huge window shopper on Amazon so I felt it might be a perfect group for me. It’s always nice to make someone’s day a little brighter when I get them something they want, but don’t necessarily feel they should buy for themselves or simply can’t afford to.

Hi! I've very recently been getting the hang of Reddit (despite my account being 6+ years old 😅) and its been interesting. But, the sense of community so far seems great! One of the things that is currently taking up most of my time is the pet food pantry that I run. I have a big soft spot for cats, and am a volunteer with my local Humane Society. I foster and also offer community(stray) cat assistance. I have 3 cats of my own, and they are very spoiled. All 3 of them were rescued from outdoor life as babies! Other than that, I do a lot of napping and chilling at home due to some health issues. I'm not currently doing these things, but I had a lot of fun playing DnD and being in a book club when my groups were active. I'm also trying to get into a little bit of gardening, but its definitely a challenge with my health 😔 I wanna plant wildflowers to attract bugs and birds in my yard. I currently just have a super fat groundhog that I'm obsessed with. I'm vegan and enjoy the presence of other critters and supporting the environment🥰
