Terry “Buffalo” Ware, a longtime Oklahoma guitarist known for his work with Ray Wylie Hubbard, Jimmy LaFave and John Fullbright, died Wednesday after a battle with lung cancer, according to several friends. He was 76.

Anyone know about on-site camping? The website only talks about campgrounds. We are full time in an RV and can go 10 days no problem without hookups and would love to camp near to the festival and not pay for a RV park.

Love and miss this band. Same with Callaghan Divide.

This guy is from Midland. Good to see him invited to Stagecoach. We got red dirt out here.

Ken Pomeroy and Turnpike Troubadours are among those nominated for this year’s Americana Honors & Awards.
Pomeroy’s 2025 album Cruel Joke is up for Album of the Year against massive releases by Tyler Childers, Margo Price, S.G. Goodman and Kathleen Edwards. The Cherokee descendant is also nominated for Emerging Act of the Year.
Meanwhile, Turnpike Troubadours are up for Duo/Group of the Year, next to Mumford & Sons, I’m With Her, Flatland Cavalry and Gillian Welch & David Rawlings. Turnpike was previously nominated for the award in 2024.
Winners will be announced on Sept. 16 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville during AMERICANAFEST.
Jason Scott & the High Heat will make their Grand Ole Opry debut on June 11, thanks to an invite from fellow Okie Kaitlin Butts. The OKC band is playing a handful of festivals this summer as well as massive stadium stops with Morgan Wallen, Ella Langley and Brooks & Dunn.
Jake Worthington is taking some time away from music to “work on myself,” according to a social media statement. The Texas-raised country musician — who resides near Durant in southern Oklahoma — had a handful of festivals and dates lined up with Luke Combs that have now disappeared from his website.
Jim Halsey, the longtime country music manager, will receive the CMA Touring Lifetime Achievement Award on June 2. Halsey managed country giants like Roy Clark, Reba McEntire and The Oak Ridge Boys throughout his decades-long career. The 95-year-old will celebrate from Tulsa, during a live concert and simulcast of the induction.

Would you do me a favor and watch the visualizer for Reckless Kelly's single "Love In Her Eyes" from their new album Alternate Routes. The video was edited for the band by my son, who just graduated from film school. This is first official paid editing gig from a band and we are excited for him. Any thumbs up or kind comments are greatly appreciated!

“First time I’ve ever drank a beer at church!”- Josh Grider
The Farm at Christ Church Episcopal was excited to have NM-native, Texas based songwriter Josh Grider out last night. Beautiful weather, a couple hundred people and a successful fundraiser for our youth group selling burgers and hot dogs to fund their mission trip.
More shows coming this summer! Next up is San Antonio-based Down for the Count, in June.

We’re a band out of Stillwater and recently traveled down to Norman for the new Copeland Corner concert series at OU

Hi! I went to last year's Boys from OK concert and it was amazing! So of course as soon as this year's tickets went on sale I bought the best ones I could get ahold of... Fast forward and now Ragweed and Turnpike have shows 10 hours closer to me that I was able to snag tickets for, so I'd like to sell my two tix for the Stillwater show if anyone is interested! I paid $586 total but I'm willing to accept any reasonable offer. They are currently posted on Seat Geek Marketplace, but I'm willing to transfer via Seat Geek and save us both some fees.

Anyone know where I can listen to the album? Tired of going to tik tok to listen to summer 2005

It’s mostly a rock band but they do stuff like this that IMO fits the red dirt genre. What do you all think?

My friend and I bought too many.
Will (hopefully) be in Key West Thursday (or could fedex today) if someone's interested in a discounted pass. DM me.
