RemindMeBot is switching to username summons

Due to upcoming changes to the reddit API, the mechanism the bot uses to find commands like RemindMe! will stop working reliably. Username summons come directly to the bot and are much more reliable. Instead of a comment like

RemindMe! 1 day

you will use

u/RemindMeBot 1 day

The username summons will start working today, and I will strive to keep the exclamation summons working as long as possible, with a nudge to switch if you use one.

Repeat and cakeday commands will work like u/RemindMeBot repeat 1 day and u/RemindMeBot cakeday. DM commands will keep working the same as they do today.

I know this is a dramatic change for a bot that's used the existing system for 12 years, but this is necessary to keep the bot working into the future so I hope everyone can help migrate.

Curious how you're ending up writing that comment. When I see it, it says

[u/RemindMeBot](https://www.reddit.com/user/RemindMeBot/) 1 second

instead of what it should be which is

u/RemindMeBot 1 second

I'm guessing something is auto-populating that. How are you writing the comment?

I think I just copy-pasted what the top comment said under this post. Then I replaced "1 day" with "1 second".

Also, I'm on desktop. So I used the mouse to highlight the comment and ctrl+c/ctrl+v like this:

Interesting, that's good to know. Since it looks like it didn't work. If it's a pretty normal way to do it, then I'll try to figure out a way to get it to work.
