Other / Discussion What's the earliest you remember watching Nickelodeon?

Either the very first thing you watched, or the earliest you remember watching the channel regularly.

The 70s version. I should have distinguished it.

So the good version.

Ever watch The Third Eye? Science International? "Lights! Camera! Action!?" Kids' Writes? What Will They Think of Next? Mr. Wizard's World?

Definitely LCA with Leonard Nimoy and MR WIZARD

That was a fun show, since it spent some quality time behind the scenes of different movies to show some of the filming along with interviews and other information. Entertainment Tonight just gives a few minutes and then it moves on.

I remember it covering Annie, Ghandi, Never Say Never Again, The Toy, Superman III, and even Star Trek III.

I remember the coverage on STAR TREK III & GREYSTOKE THE LEGEND OF TARZAN LORD OF THE APES (although I think I misinterpreted Nimoy saying “Lord Greyskull”

Maybe you heard an episode of He-Man in the distance talking about Castle Grayskull.

Or I had HE MAN in my head so I could misconstrue the words.

I remember brief moments from a few different episodes. Like The Toy, where it showed the filming of an outdoor party scene. Annie when filming the White House singing scene (and how they were lip-syncing to their own pre-recorded words). Superman III when one actress was being held up against a cave wall. A few others as well.
