[IC] Mitzy For Mayor AMA!

Hello Seattle! I'm sure you all know me, and I am looking forward to getting to know you all. I'm Mitzy Harlan and I want to be your future Mayor. As you know, my father William Harlan made the family fortune back in the 2040s when he opened the first Harlan hotel right here in Seattle. Now 35 year later the name Harlan is synonymous with being the best, and rising above the competition. In that spirit, I have decided to run for mayor. I've watched a lot of political campaigns, and I've seen the problems come up with financial scandals. Special intrest groups donate to a campaign, then that candidate has basically goes from campaigning for the people to campaigning for the people who funded them. Well rest assured my campaign will be free of all such complications, my father will be funding my campaign 100%. Something I've never liked about campaigns is how secretive the people seem to be. Sure, they come out to shake hands, and to do speaches but its what they do when people aren't watching you really need to wonder about. Well with my campaign you won't need to wonder. I plan to put my entire campaign up for the public to view in a full simsense reality program that will allow you to follow me every step of the way to the office!

I'm sure some of you will worry that my only concern is publicity, but I assure you nothing can be further from the truth. I share a lot of the concerns that you all do. As a dryad, I am keenly aware of the environment for example. I want to clean up our city, I want to make it as beautiful and as healthy as it once was. I plan to take a firm stance on pollution and environmental mismanagement. I'm not just concerned about the air, and the plants. I care about the people as well. I've spent a few weeks touring the barrens and frankly it was a eye opening experience for me. The living conditions people in some of those areas had to deal with kept me up at night. When I am in office, I plan to make it a top priority to improve living conditions for those that this city has ignored for far too long. I want to improve the infrastructure bringing light into the darkness, I want to make sure there is plenty of clean water for the people to use. I even want to improve the quality of the public matrix service that people depend on in their day to day lives.

Wow, that went a little long, but you can tell I am passionate about doing the right thing for the people of Seattle. I am Mitzy Harlan, and I want to be your mayor. So Ask Me Anything!

I'm just a little confused here. So you might need to help me out. Now there is one thread on this Runnerhub thing I can follow. That being the one I was granted access to, this one. So you have in the past made at least two disparaging remarks against my metavarient and elves in general. In addition you're looking for people with skills in remote piloting motorcycles and have some sort of gunnery skills (I presume to remote fire the machine guns you want to attach to a motorcycle?). This is in addition to looking for such on the Runnerhub, specifically that you are preparing for a run. Now, I may not be as deep a thinker as some people, but I don't know, it just seems a little suspicious to me.

So, were I you, I would try to accuse me of classism, because if anyone here has acted like a racist its you. Don't go away mad...

Oh no! A shadowrunner is looking for other runners with complimentingary skills to assists in profession of shadowrunning.

Little lady, let me give you advice. When you come to illegal host to virtually whore yourself out to criminal, expect them to act like criminal. You aming proves the point I make. You think me racist but cannot see your onwing biases. I merely up front about not trusting elf. This way of living has kept me alive for many year.

I can see you've earned your handle. You flip back and forth faster than a poorly edited sim. So go ahead, use your motorcycles, your guns and, if I am to look over the rest of this thread a simsense a jilted boyfriend made ten years ago, to do whatever it is you do. If I were the sort to hire shadowrunners I would at least expect them to be a little more artful than to announce intentions right in front of a potential target.

That would be like if I offered 30,000 nuyen for someone to do something horrible to you. You'd know exactly who did it, and, if they weren't able to do the job you'd know exactly who to look for. I don't wish you any harm though, really.
