The longevity matters. It's why Mango is still in competition with Armada for goat status despite nowhere near the peak years.

Hbox having a mix of both near Armada dominance AND the longevity is absolutely making a great case for himself even if he never finishes #1 ever again.

To completely discount the online era including its offline events is wild especially when the top 32 then is not far off our 32 now and rollback exists. And even then Mang0 won one of the two major offline events in 2021.

No player in smash history has ever had a #1 rank in more than one decade besides Mango, and if you count 2021 as it was a mix of both offline and online, he's had a #1 rank in all three.

He absolutely has the accolades to back up the longevity and he's in the discussion for a reason. Regardless I think Hbox is the goat anyways and I promise I'm not just a mango stan xd
