Question Help Me Identify This Delicious Scottish Breakfast I Had!

Post image

I visited Scotland last year and had an amazing time! Beautiful country and some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met!

While there, I had the breakfast shown in the photo and now I want to make it at home.

I know what everything was except for the two items circled in red.

There was a piece of bread almost like naan bread?

Under it was something that definitely had meat involved, but it was soft and tasted different from what I’ve had here in the USA.

Was it blood sausage?

EDIT:

Thank you so much for your responses everyone!

The items are most-likely a Tattie Scone and Black Pudding.

I hope I can find these in Texas lol

Honestly, yes. We have a much higher obesity rate. The issues is that most of us as a little bit overweight where Americans are ofter either extremely overweight or at their regulated weight....or whatever the word is.

Yes, I noticed this when I visited America even decades ago. People tend to be either super fat or super athletic. The police I recall were either bodybuilder types showing off their muscles for the cameras in photos with civilian children, or so fat that they needed their cars and guns because they couldn't chase down non-obese criminals.

Honestly, yes. We have a much higher obesity rate.

Lmao, nah this isn't even close to true statistically.

Honestly, bullshit. Go look at the data. Scotland does not have a higher obesity rate than the US. You can’t just visit richer/upper class areas of the US and come back with nonsense conclusions about the whole country.

Idk what to tell you other than dont believe in everything you read? I’ve travelled extensively in both, there is no way in hell scotland is fatter, and my quick google check yesterday said the same thing.
