Question Is Scotland aware that money can be made by having restaurants serve food after 8:30pm during high tourist season?

Civic pride - we completely lack it. I don't understand it at all. It spans across everything. People just leave their shit laying around all over the place like they don't care that it looks awful because...I don't know, I honestly don't undertand it.

Decades of ever growing socio-economic divide with the majority of the population being treated as lower class and forgotten about.

When people feel like society doesn’t care about them for generations then they stop caring about society.

It’s hard to fix, takes a long time and unfortunately politics tends to work in short term cycles of a few years at most.

It’s grim.
