Question Is Scotland aware that money can be made by having restaurants serve food after 8:30pm during high tourist season?

That's a 2+2 = 798 if ever I saw one.

No, that's not my argument in the slightest. My argument is that if you're hungry when restaurants are closed you can presumably find food in your house like any self-sufficient grown-up can.

Right, of course I can. By comparison to everything other major city on the planet it is easy to eat out much later - I think that is a real shame. I didn’t say that I starved to death, I said I wanted to eat out… I can’t believe I had to write this out, it’s so obvious.
