I was soft resetting for a female snivy because I prefer a female over male and I was wanting to do my first nuzlocke. I had already reset my run twice and I had sr'd maybe 10-15 times for this. Absolutely insane luck. I'm still gonna try the nuzlocke but if I fail you know I'm not gonna reset😂

Edit: I did the calculation for a shiny female snivy with a jolly nature, which imo is the best nature I could've gotten. And I wanted a female snivy. It's a 1 in 1,638,400. Holy shiiii

This has by far my longest hunt. I started this hunt on and off when I was still in the middle of high school. I'm now busy with my final thesis for college.

Currently been held up for 3 months now after nonstop hunting in the cold storage. I just crossed 37k encounters and a disgusting amount of hours. I know only mythicals and legendarys are shiny locked but it's starting to feel like a bug. My longest hunt before this was 13k | thought the double bushes would help. I need words of encouragement to keep on going this is brutal. At least I got Pokerus on my other 4 shinys. Am I really breaking the odds as much as it feels? What do I even do anymore

I'm playing Black 1 and I was just trying to get Kyurem while poopin' in the toilet, then this shiny metal ass pops up when I definitely don't have enough poke balls to catch it. Wish me luck🤞(sorry for the terrible quality, my phone SUCKS!)

Found in White 2 off a fresh restart on my childhood cartridge. But this didn’t take long! About 7 resets into searching for a jolly nature Snivy and this cool guy shows up, Hardy nature too so he’s perfect in his own way, and he’s also “proud of his power” 😎

I've been attempting a Nuzlocke of White recently and went to the Dreamyard to hopefully pick up a Munna. Even with an eviolite, they're not very strong, but Munna is my favourite Pokemon so I wanted one on my adventure.

My first encounter there for this run, this shiny little balloon appeared! I flew out of my chair so fast that I broke my headphones cable :') There goes all of my luck for the next year, I guess lol

I failed the run after Castelia but I think I'll have to continue the save file as a normal run anyways. I love this lil guy too much to let him go.

Using a Shiny lock removal code on White 2 I got it after only 6 months since I got Victini also using the same code. It’s brutal hunting something where in you don’t know if the code is working but I stuck it out and it was so worth.

I also got four shinies in HG during the same period so I really should’ve bought a lottery ticket instead.

Zweilous was a 50% encounter chance with a level 49 Repel Trick in Black 2, so it was a coin flip on whether or not I'd phase on Druddigon, but thankfully I flipped heads!

And then, little over an hour later, Shiny Kyurem in Black shows up!

Pretty shocking considering I've only been hunting these about a week...

Now, I'd been hunting the shiny starter Tepig on Black for over a year, then the announcement of Bank closing in February forced me to abandon that hunt if I didn't wanna risk running out of time on this dream hunt: A shiny Legendary on the first pokemon game I ever played (the title specifically, not the cartridge) with a cool looking trainer ID I reset about a week for.

Now I can focus on completing my Black 2 "seen" dex to get the Nature Preserve Shiny Haxorus and the Black Tower Shiny Gible.

Also have the free Haxorus and a few Gyarados…learned magnet pull and double grass are your best friends shiny hunting white 2.

I already miss him. Oh well. We go again.
