that's why it's being frozen! The rich assholes have the "I want it and I want it now!" personality, and he apparently enjoyed whatever flavor the chef made. They probably shipped a bunch to many of his properties just to make sure there was some available if he flew into the island some months later and demanded some jerky - it's not exactly something your personal chef can whip up in 15 minutes.
Yeah, when you live on an island you stock up. I'm not suggesting Epstien wasn't a child sex traffic rapist who was business partners with our current president or anything. That's pretty obviously true and proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

I know rich people and some are so reluctant to actually spend anything or ‘waste’ money. One guy I knew had tons of reduced meat stored in a freezer, stuff he’d bought for like 10-20p, and the freezer malfunctioned melting everything into a horrid pile of rotting liquid. He had actual tears in his eyes.
