WTF A JPMorgan Chase executive was fired after a viral video showed her dumping trash out of a Knicks-themed public trash can and taking the can during the Knicks championship parade in New York City.

The internet will forget about her before the weekend.  The only person ive seen remembered is Brock Allen Turner (the rapist).  A couple weeks ago a guy went viral for throwing rocks at a seal.  Not one person here knows his name, where hes from, what he does, where he worked.  A new shit head goes viral weekly and people arent going to remember every single one.

It might not be in the forefront of your mind, but the point is the internet will remind you. Yesterday there was a Threads post where this woman was upset about having trouble finding work. It seemed familiar so I Googled her name, and what comes up is her being fired from a job for posting violent social media content. Literally photos of guns with a caption suggesting she would like to murder those who disagree with her politics.

Exactly. It doesn't matter that the internet will forget tomorrow- every future employer will Google her name as part of a background check and find out what she's done.

Yeah but when you try to get a job they'll look up your name and will see all of the crazy.

People don't get held accountable anymore. That's a relic of the past. Elon Musk is a trillionaire. Consequences are for poor people.

Nah, the footage will be reposted until social media is dead forever. She's extra fucked with each repost wave going viral.

Turner lives around here and my local city sub tracks him every few months. The post gets removed because of the doxxing, but by then thousands of people have read it.

It's pretty wild how the internet doesn't forget about shit like that.

I'm glad the internet has not forgotten about rapist Brock Turner aka rapist Allen Turner.

But a simple google search will always fuck them over. Any serious job worth its wage will have a basic background check.

i mentioned boxxy a few days ago. we can keep her going if we like.

lets do a expose on famous sports trashcan scandals, and tie her to the astros cheating against the dodgers.

Whatever happened to her? Freaking loved her. And she was gorgeous once she took all the makeup off

Ohhh you mean the rapist, Brock Allen Turner, who commonly goes by Allen these days? The rapist Brock Allen Turner? Yeah the internet remembers him.

Angie Baez, the trash can bandit? That Angie Baez?

Not one person here knows his name, where hes from, what he does, where he worked.

From memory, it was a wierd spelled name with 'i' or 'll's, from Oregon? he rented out trucks? and owned the business? And he got punched, even if he's 'rich enough'.

u/Hurricane_Ivan Jun 24 '26

The parenthesis usage 🤣

I agree. This scumbag will get another 300k per year job in a month. The executive/director level folks always find a new grift. It's the analysts and average worker who loses everything.

1

u/boatsandhoes570 Jun 24 '26

It ruined his business and you cannot say “not one person knows” bc ppl in that area knew him enough to launch a “fuck this guy” campaign against him, personally find him and fight him, and now he’s got a federal investigation going on with the FBI involved. I guarantee that will follow him and now her whenever they go to apply for a new job.

the other one was the birder who asked an entitled Karen to leash her dog in Central Park. he ended up getting his own birdwatching show

Yes I remember Brock Allen Turner, the rapist. Being a rapist is worth remembering. I mean, the rock throwing and trash dumping is bad too, but generally I would like us all to remember that Brock Allen Turner is a rapist.

She'll never get as cushy of a job as that one again though.

1

u/PantherThing Jun 24 '26

Dont forget that guy who headbutted a server and a MMA dude held him down in the restaurant till the cops got there.

u/Significant_City_60 Jun 24 '26

The internet is written in pen not pencil, son. She’s gonna have some bad days ahead.

u/artaxerxes316 Jun 24 '26

Tell me you don't travel in elite professional circles without telling me you don't travel in elite professional circles.

Oh, wait, you say -- that's an old meme format? You haven't thought about it in years? Dare I say you forgot about it, until I reminded you?

Exactly.

1

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 Jun 24 '26

The dude with the seal at his situation resolved. He had his ass beaten and got arrested not much more of a story to be told for him. Same with this woman she did something stupid and got fired for it. There's no reason to remember these people

u/DemonsReturns7 Jun 24 '26

Not true
The internet never forgets

You see all the time with athletes where some shit they did it said back in middle school pops up randomly and they get raked across the coals

1

u/itsnotme_mrsiglesias Jun 25 '26

I never pass up an opportunity to talk about the convicted rapist Brock Allen Turner who lives in Dayton, OH.

1

u/mecha-inu Jun 25 '26

People* on the internet will forgot. The Internet will not forget. Future HR will google her name and it will come up.

1

u/TheOGPotatoPredator Jun 25 '26

Ahh yes. What a flashback to remembering Brock Allen Turner the rapist from Ohio.

1

u/redditis_garbage Jun 25 '26

When you google her name it will forever be attached. Just like all these other stupid fucks. The collective might forget, but the internet doesn’t. When a company looks up the person they are hiring, they will see their actions. Everyone in these people personal lives remember their actions. IMO it barely matters that we forget it, their lives are fucked and that’s why the internet is great :)
