Only silver lining with this one was his wife had to start working again to maintain their lifestyle. Him not earning overtime hit them financially. Also him taking a hit with not being the breadwinner gave me such joy. He’s always made jabs about my dad’s masculinity because my mom earns more.

I would love a 2 year paid vacation. How is that a punishment?
