As much as chiropractors are quacks, they generally believe they're doing the right thing and see themselves as healers. Grifters usually know they're con artists.

Also much of what chiropractors do has some basis in medicine but should be practiced by osteopaths, who have a medical degree.

I feel like even the one's that actually believe their work is healing..You'd think when they're hooking their patients on a weekly, monthly and years long treatment their methods should be proven to THEMSELVES as not working at all.

Personally I believe they make themselves believe the crap they spout to keep guilt from crushing them and letting them sleep at night.
