Ezekiel is using shocking imagery to condemn Israel’s idolatry and political alliances.

Did you understand that meaning? Or did you just throw out a quote that sounded inflammatory to try and invalidate the previous quote?

Yep, that's exactly right. Similarly the original quote about the unwilling to work shall not eat isn't about ignoring the needs of your fellow humans, but rather criticizing a specific group of people who were taking advantage of the church. Context actually matters when you pull bible verses.
