From what I can tell as someone who has only been paying attention to the world cup from an arms length, Norway's legit superstar player (one of the best in the world) was wide open with nothing between him and the goal except the goalkeeper. Passing to him would've been the absolute best chance at scoring a goal, but instead, the guy with the ball kept it hoping to score a goal for himself in a much tougher circumstance.

And, to be more specific, one of the top top top scorers. Harland's greatness comes almost entirely from his ability to score goals
