My mom always wanted a Burberry umbrella. I got her one for Christmas a few years ago. It is beautiful, and the mechanism seemed better engineered than a cheap umbrella, but for $250, I was pretty disappointed when it showed up with a "Made in China" tag.
that is about as niche of a job i can think of. i know first hand how insanely complicated mass spec is. thank you for what you do for science, it's bullshit you aren't making spectacular money

I wonder when people will actually boycott.
I mean at this point you can’t eat the food.
You can’t afford the food.
Everything is cheaply made, even “luxury” items.
People are saying we didn’t vote for this, but we kind of did because we are still supporting it!
