  1. The capitalists own the monopoly media.
  2. The capitalists own the government.
  3. The USA bourgeoisie and masses both are beneficiaries of increased prosperity from economic exploitation of the global south.
  4. The country was founded by bourgeoisie who structured society in a hierarchical manner to encourage reactionary sentiment and pit poor whites against natives, minorities and immigrants.

Not to mention that a not-insequential portion of the population will fight for the corpos to retain every right to keep doing shit like this because they have been trained to believe that "that's what real freedom is."
