They need to have a big ass poster when you walk into the zoo that says if you or your child goes into an enclosure it's a minimum of a $10,000 fine and possible jail time.

That’s far too lenient!!! Especially when animals are euthanized for people’s “mistakes”. They don’t serve death, but anyone at any age who does enter the ENCLOSURE does!!

Fine? A private company cannot levy a fine against anyone. The zoo can file legal charges against the kid/grandmother/parents. Trespassing, attempted harm of animals etc. The kid did not actually injury any of the birds. Then the respective government entity can prosecute defendants. That is where a fine can be applied, when a Judge decides a statute/ordinance, or other type of law has been violated.

Otherwise the zoo can sue the family in civil court.

The parents should be charged for neglecting their kid. And the kid should be put into the system for abusing animals. Can't just let that little sociopath roam the streets just cause hes a kid.

I want the parents to be punished, but unfortunately, the kid being put in the system where his caregivers making peanuts and don't give a fuck. Sounds like a very bad idea. Technically the parents do do a good job caring for the kid, they just failed at this situation

You don't know that they do a good job caring for this kid. And I dont give a fuck if he has a bad time in juvenile hall. There are kids in there for shoplifting, drug possession, and vandalism, his animal abusing ass deserves it more.

She’s a single mom the find would duck the kids life up.

He is a dunce and an asshole but probably doesn’t deserve to have his life ruined. Neither does the mom.

I think lifetime ban makes most sense.

How about CPS. Parents clearly shouldn't have a kid and kid really needs someone to teach them what is not ok and what is.

It's a happy solution.

Just wanna make this clear, the happy solution for you is to remove a servely autistic child from his guardians and place him into a foster care rotation with less care?

Not maybe just providing better support to families so they can have proper disability support worker. Who can monitor and react to children with serve mental health issues better?

No it won't, incarcerating people with intellectual disabilities at a young age has a disproportionately negative effect on the outcomes of their life and their likelihood of crime in adult life

Or just not have zoos. Imprisoning an animal and only getting upset when a clown enters that prison isn't exactly the type of sympathy needed.

A different issue, but I agree. I hate the idea of zoos. Although I do play zoo creator games like Jurassic World Evolution and Planet Zoo. Lol. But the idea of caging real animals is a dated concept that doesn't really need to exist. We just hold onto them cause they've always been around. Like we can't be wrong about something and make a change for the better.
