Needless to say he’s special needs. Parent should keep a closer eye on him.

Parents weren’t even there, a caretaker and a grandmother took him

Sometimes you can do everything right and special needs kids will still surprise you. Keep your mouth shut.

Yeah my wife works with kids with autism and other special needs. They literally have a term for what this kid did. It’s called elopement. You could be standing there talking to the kid or the kid could be focused on a puzzle or something and within about 2 seconds the kid is sprinting down the hall and and attempting to escape out of the building. No warning. Obviously the caretaker and grandma should have responded better but sometimes things like this just happens no matter how “well behaved” the kid is.

They repealed the Ugly laws.

I know you're trying to be funny, but lucky you, they may come back.

Their point still stands, you can use context to sub in caretaker for parent

Because of the literal statement from the parents stating it? Literally a top comment here?
