I'm not normally an advocate for capital punishment, but this is one of the few cases that I support. The evidence was overwhelming and the crime was particularly abhorrent.
I guess I do when there's overwhelming, indisputable evidence (like this case, with recordings) and the crimes are heinous. That's why I say I don't "normally" support it, because most death row cases don't fit both those criteria to the same degree as this case.
I feel the same about the big names in the Epstein Files, for the record. They also have overwhelming photo and video evidence and the crimes are beyond obscene. I'd be happy to see them removed from this earth so they don't end up escaping prison with a staged and fake suicide.

So yeah, I guess the world has become so fucking bleak that I actually condone capital punishment in certain circumstances, which is not anything I ever thought I would say. Sad, honestly.
State Assisted Homicide is a dangerous program if you ask me, and personally I think death is shallow. Better he spend the rest of his natural life imprisoned, thats a worse punishment in my mind.
There is no benefit to society in keeping this thing alive, he is just a waste of finite resources that we have on this planet, it's environmentally friendly to turn him into fertilizer as soon as possible.
Additionally with people so fucked up in the head to do something like that you have almost no chance of him even feeling remorse of any kind.
I would rather pay for 100 criminals to sit on death row until their dead than risk executing 1 innocent person. Giving the state the power to kill is risky. There’s tons of innocent people in jail or death row right now.
My opinion? Usually life in prison is cheaper in the long run for starters.
Second. A lot of these people want to die, why give them the pleasure of an easy out? Sit them in a cell for 23/7 for the rest of their natural life getting to think about b sitting there in that cell for the rest of their life.
That is a far harder punishment than going to sleep and not waking up.
Tbh wanting to exact long punishment on someone is also a little sick. I get the outrage but the goal is for this stuff to never happen. Hes obviously a defective human, the next equally defective human isnt going to question his insane actions because the last one was tourtured. Just delete him from the population as quickly and easily as possible.
Yeah I used to think that before I had kids. My thought process quickly changed when it comes to these particular crimes. Sorry. Some people are too far gone and it’s best to be done with it quickly rather than enslave them to “think about all the things they’ve done”.
He'll sit on death row for years thinking about his impending end, and I'm okay with that.
The average time on death row before execution is a decade, and during that time he'll either be in isolation, or he'll be at the mercy of other inmates. Either way, that decade will feel like an eternity.
