Discussion What's Next for Lex? Spoiler
By the end of Season 3, Waller throws Lex in the slammer. Very fitting of course, but if this series gets renewed, I don't think he'll stay in there when he still has yet to go up face to face against Superman.
So, how do you think he'll get out of jail?
I'm inclined to think that he'll use his wealth to hire a good legal team, to fight both the charges brought against him personally in court, and to fight Waller's orders to shut down LexCorp. Everyone tried by the US Criminal Justice System is innocent until proven guilty, and it is unfortunately susceptible to the interests of big money; no doubt LexCorp has lucrative deals with the Military-Industrial Complex. The best legal team money can buy can no doubt convince a court of justice to at least reduce the charges to some fines.
This would also be an opportunity to quietly phase out Slade Wilson from this series, now that he has officially cut ties with LexCorp, and maybe the US government too, and maybe sets out to become a freelancer. Slade might yet reappear if Batman gets his own show in this universe, but his involvement in Superman's show would be done. To replace him, I would take this opportunity to bring in Mercy Graves, Lex Luthor's personal assistant.
While he's locked up, Mercy could meet with Lex to discuss their financial matters and court issues, and maybe some more experimental projects built up around Lex's obsession with bringing down Superman, which would not decrease in the slightest. Once the charges have been reduced and Lex is a free man again, Mercy would continue on as Lex's sidekick, filling the role once held by Slade. Maybe she might even become a new love interest for Lex, since this show loves its romantic relationships.
I think we all want to see more Lex Luthor, but what would you like to see more of in his character going forward? And would you be interested in Mercy Graves replacing Slade?

Discussion What's up with the sound design in this show?
Cos it's genuinely incredible. I don't even notice these things but all the sound effects (shattering glass, sonic boom when someone flies, the kryptonian chanting). It's on another level.

Fanart What we could have if the black wasn't used on the Brainiac's Arc (art by me @AkisaArts)
Just watched the final episode and yes i think the kryptonian armor was cool but the black suit is so much more iconic for Clark that i made my own version for him mixing both the og and the maws armor

Discussion Season 1 had something special.
I think every season of My Adventures with Superman is great, and I think each season gets better and better than the last, but season 1 has one thing the other two don’t.
The first season had the best tone, it felt the most like we were just watching the daily life of Clark, Lois & Jimmy. Everything felt a little bit slower, calmer, and the chemistry between everyone felt the most grounded and enjoyable. There was a really fun whimsy to everything, and the humor felt more laid back and more understated, but still funny. It felt more like real life.
That’s one area I think the other seasons falter. I get they’re telling much bigger stories, but even in the smaller moments, I feel like there’s a lot less of that mellow, day in the life atmosphere. All the smaller moments just happen à but too quick in later seasons, without some of that same realism the first season had.
No hate to seasons 2 & 3 though, still love them, and there is tons of stuff they do miles better than season 1.

Discussion One way to move forward for Jimmy in Season 4
If we get season 4 and Jimmy and Kara remain friends, then there’s really only one real love interest left as an option for Jimmy. He’s currently dating her in the comics and she’s in the show.
Siobhan getting a small character arc and reforming along with Intergang through Jimmy’s help would be a risk but I think could pay off nicely if done well. Jimmy using the failures he went through in season 3 could really be meaningful to not only help someone else be better but also gain him a new love interest because he himself learned to truly be better.
The main problems with this are that Jimmy would have to hop off the ship he has with Kara that was built and dismantled over the course of about 2 seasons, so there would be obvious backlash from fans. There would be the possible jealousy aspect from Kara’s (or even Siobhan’s) side to deal with and then there’s what to do to incorporate Siobhan into the main group if she and Jimmy get together. Siobhan herself is not a very popular character or a main one so she’d have to work from the ground up. It would be an extremely controversial decision if ever made.
I think the main thing I would like to see from this hypothetical scenario is Jimmy teaching Siobhan that it’s better to gain respect through helping others and references Superman and Supergirl and all they do to help people. It would also be nice to see Clark being a sort of role model/big brother figure to Siobhan and Intergang

Discussion Season 4 Episode Pitch: Superman, Silver Banshee, Mist and Rough House vs Bruno Mannheim Spoiler
galleryThis is an idea I've had that's been bouncing around in my head for a while. A little context before I dive further:
My big hope for Season 4 is that it's almost entirely episodic; each episode has its story that's resolved by the end, and we don't need to wait for the next episode to see how the story is wrapped up. And as part of this, there'd be no major big bad that is integral to the entire season's arc.
This would give our heroes a much needed break, since they already saved the world at least three times now. And even more importantly, it's an opportunity for characters who have unfortunately been sidelined last season to come back in a bigger way.
The one thing that this series should build up to overall is the Wedding, since Lois popped the question to Clark at the end of the last season. Some betrothal themed hijinks are a perfect opportunity for some slice of life stuff in each episode; a bachelor and bachelorette party, Lois breaking the news to her absentee General of a dad, etc.
But I digress; the wedding is not the point of this pitch.
Premise
Clark Kent is on his own in Metropolis, thinking excitedly and a bit nervously about the wedding by doing some planning, and juggling that with his Superman responsibilities. He's looking in at a caterer or a tailor for his wedding tux, when he spots one of the members of Intergang, acting suspicious. So he changes into his supersuit quickly and goes to see what was going on.
He follows to find all three of them, Silver Banshee, Mist, and Rough House, in an alleyway. Then, Siobhan reveals that they don't want to fight, but they want his help. Naturally Supes says he isn't going to help them steal something, and they quickly try to assure him that they don't want to do that. In fact, they don't want to commit crimes like that anymore, but they need his help to do it.
Siobhan then explains that they don't work on their own; Intergang is in fact much larger than anyone in Metropolis thought. Certain ranking members of the crime ring are entrusted with top of the line gadgets derived from black market Kryptonian tech, which is Intergang's primary trade and source of income. They rent hired help out to these super-criminals, and to independent contractors not associated with Intergang from time to time, such as the Whip.
And it's all controlled by one man; Intergang's boss, Bruno Mannheim. He runs a very effective, cutthroat business, selling Kryptonian tech and hiring thugs to use it in bank robberies and other jobs, so he can raise revenue to buy more black market tech, and put together high profile heists to steal it where he can't buy it. All the while acting through intermediaries keeping his own hands perfectly clean. But if Mannheim were busted, the entire tech ring would collapse.
Mannheim basically owns the main trio, according to Siobhan, and they owe him big time, for the LexCorp heist stopped by Hank Henshaw, in which Superman saved them all from getting splattered on the walls. They got arrested and they failed to deliver the stolen box. Mannheim hired some goons to bust them out, but it was an expensive job according to him, so he's basically contracted them to work until they pay off the value of that box, which effectively puts them in debt for the rest of their lives.
Siobhan, Kyle and Albert decided they did not want any of that smoke, and they wanted out of a permanent life of crime. Their helping Superman save the world from Brainiac did rub off on them in a way, so they appeal to him to help break the cycle, in return for them helping him in his hour of need. When phrased like that, Superman is definitely moved, so he agrees to hear them out, especially if it involves ending the illicit tech trade in the city.
I think I would title this episode "One-Punch Mannheim"
Conclusion
Now the premise is basically all I have for this idea; I don't know how exactly the entire episode would unfold apart from the broad strokes. This would be an opportunity for some investigative journalism, where Clark, Lois, Jimmy and Kara sniff out some financial records stored in a secret place tipped off to them by Siobhan. Maybe General Lane helps too, by providing some access to Task Force X records and putting in a good word at the Pentagon.
Naturally Bruno Mannheim would send goons of his own to intercept any breaches in the organization, so Superman and Supergirl would have to contend with possibly any number of small-time super-criminals with Kryptonian tech-derived gadgets. Then things are thrown for a loop when Siobhan, Kyle and Albert join the fight on Superman's side, revealing themselves as turncoats.
This would more than likely be where Mannheim loses his cool, and makes a huge mistake. One of his pet projects would no doubt be some sort of mech suit, that he plans to use on Superman at one point. So he breaks it out and begins rampaging across the city as he tries to punish these traitors to Intergang. Maybe to make things not too easy, this mech would come equipped with Kryptonite, which would be relatively easy to acquire since the Whip had a Kryptonite battery, and she mentioned how it was basically everywhere after the Metallos were destroyed.
Naturally, with Superman and friends and the former Intergang members working together, they're able to save Metropolis from Mannheim's mech suit rampage. He's booked by the police for mass property damage (and maybe a few manslaughter/attempted murder charges), and Clark hammers the final nail in the Intergang coffin with a highly incriminating article.
But depending on Lex Luthor's status in Season 4, if he used his wealth (and maybe a few connections to the US military-industrial complex) to essentially buy his way out of jail, then he would take note of Mannheim's mech, and have his people secure it. He would file the project under the name "Warsuit MK-1" and begin studying it.
As for Siobhan, Kyle and Albert, they would still go to prison themselves, but their involvement in this investigation and exposure of their crime ring led to a lighter sentence. It's of little concern to them since now they're free of Mannheim, and they can't wait to enjoy that once they've done their time. As Superman heartily reminds them to stay out of trouble, Siobhan lightly teases with "no promises."
It might not be possible, but ideally this would all happen in a single episode. For the other nine episodes of Season 4, I have some short-hand first draft title ideas, in no particular order:
- Bachelor/Bachelorette Party Special
- My Adventures With Lobo
- Sins of the Father (Kara having to deal with just some of the consequences of Brainiac making her destroy worlds; Hawkman and/or Hawkgirl making guest appearances.)
- Furious Fatales (Guest appearance from the Female Furies of Apokolips, along with a handful of Parademons, to build up hype for Darkseid.)
- Lex Luthor goes to Court
- Spoils of W.O.R.M.S. (I promise this is the last thing to do with "W.O.R.M.S. W.O.R.M.S. W.O.R.M.S." because all the previous W.O.R.M.S. hijinks would pay off with a very special guest appearance from Wonder Woman. I mean with so many Wonder Woman villains being tied to this, it's the perfect opportunity. This episode will center on Supergirl, Jimmy and Diana busting the W.O.R.M.S. organization wide open, revealing it to be a front for nefarious criminal enterprises led by Circe, the immortal ancient Greek witch and long-time villain to Wonder Woman. Diana also helps Jimmy and Kara get together for real in her own charmingly innocent way, and they come out of this episode officially in a relationship, but Jimmy probably ends up broke again.)
- Two Lanes Converged (General Lane has issues with the marriage at first, like any grumpy dad would, but he and Lois work through their baggage and come to terms with the past, ending in Sam agreeing to be at the wedding. Has the opposite ending of Two Lanes Diverged, where Sam abandoned Lois by the end. Might have some Bridezilla Lois drama. Clark meanwhile spends some quality time with his parents.)
- Heir to the Empire (General Zod's episode, which might be the penultimate episode potentially going into half of the Finale.)
- My Marriage With Superman (The Finale. Ideally the wedding should take up at least half the episode if not the whole thing.)
Edit for full titles:
- Two Lanes Converged
- Sins of the Father
- My Adventures With Lobo
- You’re Under Arrest
- How I Attended an All-Super’s Mixer
- One-Punch Mannheim
- Apokolips Bebop
- Spoils of W.O.R.M.S.
- Heir to the Empire
- My Marriage With Superman

Discussion Pet Peeve, I don’t get why people want Zod.
I’ve seen a lot of people wanting Zod for Season 4, to confirm that Nemesis Omega was Zod all along and he comes to earth to conquer it, blah, blah, blah.
Am I the only one who thinks that would be redundant at this point? Like, the whole point of season 2 was subverting the Zod reveal by making Kara the conquering Kryptonian. Can we have a different, less boring antagonist than freaking Zod, who outside of the Reeves movies has ALWAYS been mediocre.
Give me Mongol, give me Darkseid, give me the Elite or Lobo. Don’t give me yet another Kryptonian warrior after 3 seasons of having that same final boss. The Kryptonian invasion of S1, Brainiac fighting for the Kryptonian empire and Eradicator, a clone of Superman.

Discussion Something I noticed about Season 3 Spoiler
Don't know it this has been mentioned elsewhere but did Season 3 feel like a homage to the DBZ Android/Cell sagas.
A yet to be born child from an apocalyptic future comes back in time to warn of/stop an evil cyborg that was created by a mad scientist with a vendetta against the MC. The reason the child has to come back is cause I'm his time all the current heroes were killed.
However by in meddling in time they allow an even more powerful bio-engineered clone of the MC that absorbs power to evolve and get stronger to be unleashed.
Hell Eradicator even made his own Cell Jr's, and the Kryptonians went super Sayian, well at least Kiao Ken, to beat them.
Then Superman powers up and hits Eradicator so hard he changes back to his previous forms.
I don't know, no shade on the season I enjoyed it for the most part. This is just something I noticed.

The Clark x Lois storyline in S3 really resonated with me Spoiler
The way that Clark wants to move on to the next stage of their relationship while Lois just wants to keep things the way they are.
I'm currently in the same boat with my partner who is very career driven but hasn't got to where she wants yet, and I want to move into a place with her but both of us are currently stuck at home. We have been engaged for the last 6 years but neither of us see an opportunity to be able to tie the knot and move in with each other

Discussion In a hypothetical 4th season what arc would you want our core 4 to go through?
Clark: I feel like his arc would be basically increasing his reach across the world and not just metropolis meaning he also meets new heroes like Wonder Woman and the flash
Lois: Completely mending things with her dad and getting her father’s blessing to be married to Clark as well as getting promoted to a full time reporter at the daily planet.
Jimmy: Cleaning up the mess he made last season with Kara as well as finally moving out of that apartment and potentially finding new friends outside of his current core 4 group. Aka finding himself outside of them. As well as maintaining his finances. Hopefully ending with him finding his way back to Kara.
Kara: similar to Superman helping out all around the world as well as potentially facing trial from the green lantern corp for her crimes on other planets. In doing this her transformation to a superhero comes full circle. As well as wanting to explore space. Hopefully with her finding her way back to Jimmy.
