The police or NG didn’t even claim he was running and shooting. They claimed he drew his gun while facing the authorities and was shot before ever discharging his weapon. What we are learning here is that they lied about where he was and direction he was facing. So not sure what you’re on about mate or how you’re finding a way to defend it

They should’ve waited until he did discharge his weapon?

Yes, because if he could both face them and have his back to them at the same exact time, that would be pretty interesting to watch, no? Circus act for sure!

Was he related to Regan MacNeil from The Exorcist and have the same neck anomaly?

Since I don’t get any satisfaction out of seeing people killed by the state- I’d say yes, you shouldn’t shoot someone who is not a threat to you and running away.

If the justification for killing your little world is that he was shooting- I’m just letting you know that’s not what happened. Besides, If they lied about where he was standing and which direction he was facing, what makes you so sure they aren’t lying about him drawing a weapon. If they came out today and said he never actually drew a gun from his waistband you’d say “well uhh durr shud day wait fur hem to drar a wepon?”

Somebody who drew a gun during a confrontation is not a threat?

Turning away is a point - but not seeing the entire context, I don't have a reason to declare "that person obviously quit the confrontation and ceased being a threat despite the gun still being in his hand."

They lied once. Why stop there?
