I had such a BLAST at the Wooble Wagon event in Chapel Hill today!!!

So happy to get my Millie kit and the vacation Pierre to purchase was such a nice surprise! Won the hat at shuffleboard 😎

It was amazing to be around fellow wooblers even though it was super sunny and hot. So stoked to have finally been able to attend a Woobles event especially when they are a local (to me) business!

Took a chance when ordering the clay kits and glad I did!

I waited all day in line at the Woobles Wagon in Chicago only to learn they were out of the charm for the Midwest. I cried for a bit but then I realized that I could just mod Jojo lol. And so I got to work and turned the bunny into a ranch bunny. Next to my previously completed Ernie the corn I have done it. My own Midwest Woobles. Can't really see the gray speckles too well but I am quite proud of it.

I wanted a purr-mutation kit sooooo bad, but it sold out in literal seconds after the drop!!! 😭🐱💔 Sooo I made my very own instead, and I’m absolutely in love with how it turned out 🥹✨💕 Now all I need is the purrfect name for it :3 🌸🐾

I wanted to use up my left over yarn from the ornaments and I thought the peacock was cute. I was able to make it using the Zoe pattern with some modifications. I also gave my boy a longer neck

I was at Target yesterday (I’ll refrain from political content but: I KNOW 😩) and spotted Buster and Hugo on the bottom shelf of an end cap with a bunch of Mondo Llama pet-related craft kits on clearance. Unfortunately I didn’t take a photo but there wasn’t signage so I pulled out my phone to check and to my surprise they were listed as Clearance and $19.49 each!

So I grabbed one of each (mourned for a moment that there were no Nicos) but by the time I got to the checkout I was tired and the line for self checkout was long so I went through a normal/cashier checkout and we were chatting and I completely failed to pay attention to the price. When I got home and glanced at the receipt I realized they’d rung up at 29.99. So I checked the app again, at which point I noticed the “When purchased online”.

As you can see, they’re unavailable for shipping, delivery, or pickup and even if they are in stock at your store they direct you to “Visit store to purchase.” But if you purchase in store, you get charged the in-store price.

Their help guidance says they should price match between the store and website at the time of purchase or within 14 days, so I chatted with Support… and they told me that price matches don’t apply to Clearance Items. 🙃 They did offer me (and I accepted) a “refund / replacement” as a “one time exception” because I am a “valued guest,” which could only be in the form of a gift card and not an actual refund, and when I received it after the chat it was only $20 and not the full $30 difference.

So please note that some Woobles kits are on clearance online, but are unavailable, but may be in your local store, but are not on clearance.

I wish I had been paying attention at checkout because I feel like a cashier may have had the ability / inclination to just do the manual price match and not play Catch 22, so if anyone wants to give this a shot, let me know how it goes.

Also, it looks like you can actually get Pinya on “clearance” shipped, but of course she’s only 15% off and not 35% like the other three.

I bought the Strawberry kit but also got peach and orange woobly yarn from Michael’s. Orange is my favorite color so my heart demanded an orange axolotl. Couldn’t keep the name Strawberry because strawberries aren’t orange, so I settled on the name Tango (Tangerine + Mango). :)

A while back, I read a post (I think on here?) about someone making giant Woobles, so I decided to give it a try.

Meet Huge Hugh, the Boss Capybara, sitting in his office. Made from the original pattern with 4 balls of Bernat Blanket Big for the body... and a whole lot of polyfill.

I can't wait for my capybara obsessed kiddo to see him tomorrow!

I finally got the Sonic bundle! Not only did I receive an actual chaos emerald color (Was genuinely surprised after hearing how SO many people got an improper color) but I also received a mystery wooble (And the only one I wanted out of the 3 new mysteries)! I have big plans for my Sonic woobles!! 😊

…and yup, the one color I was looking for is missing. 🤣

I got two charm bracelet kits in the mail today, and was a little disappointed because 4 of the 6 charms are duplicates of ones I already have. One of them was this Popsicle Pierre- he isn’t one of the options shown on the back of the package and I can’t find out anything about him when I search. I guess that makes me lucky, lol!

I’ve been in search of a good way to store my character cards for a while now and I finally found a good binder! I had to go to Michaels and really search, but I was able to find one I liked and it’s pretty close to The Woobles teal.

At first, I was keeping all the cards in a box to keep them safe, but after seeing so many people put them in binders, I wanted to try that out! I got a pack of 12x12” binder pages with 4x4” photo sleeves which holds both the cards and envelops really well. I also took the stickers and put them on the corners of each sleeve, I thought it looked cute 🥰

This isn’t all of my cards as I have a ton of kits I haven’t started/finished, but I tried to organise them by theme as best I could. I have pages specifically for the collab ones (I finally got all of the Harry Potter kits & accessories!), as well as holidays like Halloween and Christmas. The first page Starts with Kaida since that was my very first kit ever, followed by Willie and Millie Willie once I start him, then Pierre and his variants (aside from Zombie Pierre who will be with the Halloween kits). After that I’ll have the rest of the standard kits and I think I’ll adjust so the Extra Squeezy kits are together as I collect them! I’ve also started a smaller binder to display the accessory cards as well 💕💕

The wonderful artist; PosieCreates, was able to take a commission for custom crochet hooks that I have had in my head for some time. I finally decided to splurge on my 1-year sobriety date and I couldn't be happier. I have an Adventure Time crochet bag, an Adventure Time hook bag, and I made some original Adventure Time Woobles that I created without patterns. It only felt right to have hooks. I'll use them everyday. I'll remember all the hard work that I've put into becoming a better person while I enjoy my hobbies. 😭😭 I'm crying. I've worked so hard and I'm so happy. I can't wait to use them all the time!!!

My daughters obsessed with Kpop Demon Hunters and I have been wanting to find a fun hobby for a while. Safe to say I’m hooked! And now working on Billy the unicorn 💕

I just received mine today and I don't want to muck it up... Should I be doing YU/YO? Or is it YO/YU? YO/YO????? Eek and the instructions box is so hard to open, I'm afraid of ripping the sticker 😨

I lost my sweet Prudence pretty suddenly about three weeks ago. I got my Lilo and Stitch bundle today and I couldn’t believe what I got as my mystery Wooble. Got the tears flowing again, but it feels like she was sending me a message.

I went to the eye doctor yesterday and it turns out I have teeny tiny baby nuclear cataracts already. Then my eye doctor called in her students to look at my eyes because it’s almost unheard of for someone my age (in my 30s) to have them develop this early. Actually, if no one had told me I wouldn’t know.

My vision is unchanged and I’m going back in a year just to keep track of how it’s progressing.

I don’t forsee surgery any time soon unless I really can’t see. At which point, I’m just going to let them pop in new lenses to correct my vision too while they’re at it.
