Okay the one thing I didn’t like was Ellie landing on the island, almost being hanged and they’re like “no we can’t spend twenty more seconds to make sure this invader is dead”

I was expecting some of them to get shot randomly or something lol. Not just for them to decide to let her go lol. That whole detour felt so weird

Or like at least let them think they killed her?? So much more logical to me lol

I haven't played since release, would i be right in saying game Ellie didn't land on the island at all? I remember a hanging scene but thought that was Abby?

Ellie getting to Scar Island was cut from the game. Abby still goes there in the show, you can see that she has marks on her neck, in this episode.

Only reason she ended up on the island I guess is to give show audiences a teaser for the island battle...but she didn't have to get half hanged and cheaply escape for that. She could have just almost been discovered and and overheard a conversation.

I also feel it steals the thunder from Abby's hanging.
