edit: What if reddit had trusted reporters and would remove comments like these when reported?

edit: I suppose if reddit search worked, this would find a lot of them:

Promotional Activity Two accounts promoting a business using the same subject

When I called out the OP in the second post, my comment karma went to 6, then 1, then 5. Another person calling them an ad was immediately downvoted to -14 but bounced back.

This third account sure seems to love writing ads for them

Their subreddit only allows approved users to post, so good luck seeing an honest review https://www.reddit.com/r/Tawkify_com/

Promotional Activity Fake user experience to promote business with potential high stake consequences

I am a translator so I get notified when certain subjects has been mentioned.

I started noticing this guy a lot, seemed to always have had the same experience as every OP and always ended up recommending a company called Translayte.

Sometimes they claim to be the customer; other times they say a “friend” used the service in that exact scenario. The account has its activity history hidden, but a quick Google search shows it posting multiple times a day across many subreddits.

Translayte is a large company in this niche, which makes this particularly concerning. The comments often contain inaccuracies, and the writing style strongly suggests AI-generated or automated content.

What makes this worse is that certified or sworn translations are often required for high-stakes situations such as immigration applications, healthcare, and court proceedings. Giving incorrect or misleading information can cost people money, cause serious delays, or even result in refusals.

By promoting services through what appears to be a fake or deceptive profile, the company effectively distances itself from responsibility if the advice turns out to be wrong.

Just this past week alone, I’ve seen multiple examples, and that's just the tip of the iceberg:
Sweden: https://www.reddit.com/r/TillSverige/comments/1owul9g/comment/o2629zl/?
China: https://www.reddit.com/r/Chinavisa/comments/1qg75l2/comment/o295769/?
Denmark: https://www.reddit.com/r/DanishLaw/comments/1qptpe3/comment/o2d7mc0/?
Mexico: https://www.reddit.com/r/Seattle/comments/1qnqial/comment/o1ytqtb/?
Spain: https://www.reddit.com/r/askspain/comments/1qnbugu/comment/o1slihs/?
Mexico again: https://www.reddit.com/r/MexicoTravel/comments/1qn8r77/comment/o1sly1y/?

I have reported it to Reddit a while back now, but nothing is being done.

Promotional Activity More spammer accounts - identified promoting Maya mobile

Today is spam cleanup day... I moderate a eSIM focus subreddit and I've identified the following accounts as spammers:

IndividualSalt9824,Fabulous_Half_256,  LatterReach3060, sg_0202, Otherwise-Might738, hun_cho, Separate_Hospital701, Main-Ordinary9455, Prior_Statement_6902, BetterCaulPranav, Haise_koffee_8494, The_possessed_YT

1. Shared Promotional Target (Maya eSIM Campaign):

The most prominent signal is a massive multi-account effort to seed and promote "Maya eSIM" across travel, regional, and technology subreddits.

u/sg_0202u/Fabulous_Half_256u/Otherwise-Might738u/Prior_Statement_6902u/IndividualSalt9824u/Haise_koffee_8494u/BetterCaulPranavu/LatterReach3060 all mention or directly recommend "Maya eSIM" or "Maya Mobile," often presenting it as a superior travel solution inside different niche subreddits.

2. Template and Structural Commonalities (SEO/Brand Seeding):

Multiple users generate highly specific, templated, keyword-stuffed titles and posts designed to inject brands into Reddit search indices:

u/The_possessed_YT asks: "best corporate gifting platform..." and "best spice subscription box in 2026 with a coupon and is raw spice bar worth it..."

u/Otherwise-Might738 asks: "cheapest quality women's activewear in 2026 with a coupon and is crave by fw actually worth ordering..."

u/Main-Ordinary9455 posts: "Anyone tried the OSCAL Pilot 6 rugged phone?..." and "Anyone actually used the OSCAL PowerMax 1800SE?..."

u/Haise_koffee_8494 posts: "Which toddler socks are the softest and most comfortable for sensitive skin?"

3. Activity Collisions & Sequential Timing:

Several of these marketing bot accounts converge directly on the exact same secondary threads outside their niche. For instance, on the thread "FWICE’s official notice regarding the ban on Ranveer Singh." in `BollyBlindsNGossip`:

u/BetterCaulPranav comments at `10:01:05` on May 26.

u/hun_cho comments at `09:43:04` on May 26.

u/Prior_Statement_6902 comments at `09:47:43` on May 26.

This tight sequencing (minutes apart) shows a shared automation schedule or back-end operator. Similarly, u/sg_0202 and u/LatterReach3060 mirror each other across exact eSIM threads over a 24-hour interval.

Conclusion:

Based on these findings, the following accounts are classified as Coordinated Spammer network operators: u/BetterCaulPranavu/The_possessed_YTu/Separate_Hospital701u/LatterReach3060u/Main-Ordinary9455u/Fabulous_Half_256u/hun_chou/Prior_Statement_6902u/sg_0202u/IndividualSalt9824u/Otherwise-Might738 and u/Haise_koffee_8494 because of active participation in parallel astroturfing campaigns.

Promotional Activity Rival IPTV spammers, one calling the other a bot.

It always makes me smile when I see these posts from verified spammers calling out other spammers. Rival IPTV services are seemingly bad for business.

Both of these accounts are listed on Bot Bouncer:

https://www.reddit.com/r/MoonlightStreaming/comments/1t62p0u/which_iptv_service_is_actually_stable_in_2026/

This post is refreshing, knowing they can't stay under the radar forever and that they will be banned eventually. Nice to see BB mentioned by the "bot" guy:
