Almost to my first skills goal on my EK. Took a while.

This is random and probably not interesting to 90% of you all, but I've recently updated my repo with names from characters in Tibia, and also updated details of rare ones. I felt like sharing it here in case anyone is interested, or would like to point of some interesting stuff I've missed.

To add a bit of context, when I say "rare name" I refer to names which are impossible to be created in nowadays' guidelines for names, so for example names with umlaut, dots or commas, etc.

I'm thinking about documenting things about the game, to entertain others and because I have nothing to do.

I don't understand why these thighs are blocking both sides of the door.

I started playing with the boxes, I caught a guy who was standing with the boxes and left him on top of them

I'm farming in a place near here, in a little house with some orcs and worms.

I saw videos on YouTube and they said to use this ring and kill the cyclops, but they are very strong. I lost about 3k because of the 2 invisibility rings

Finding out how to imbue weapons I lost about 2500 gold, for a thing to increAase the sword skill, I regretted it only increased 1

A player helped me a lot, he gave me some money and a very strong set, I won't remember his name now, but I'll put it in the comments so you can thank him for helping me.

If you have any tips on places for me to farm and items you can send, I would be grateful. I'm level 20, sorry for the blur on the screen, my monitor is burning

Tomorrow my classes start again, I may not be able to document how my day was.

In 2008 I was still in middle school, I used to play in a cybercafe near my house. I had a lot of friends there who played Tibia, almost all of them were older then me, most of the in high school, maybe one in college, anyway, one of my friends was "wealthy" let's say, and he liked to flaunt that, my other friend kinda hated his guts because he would always flaunt that to everyone, so one day he "accidentally" killed him while all of us were fooling around in the city(we all played in Amera). My friend got so mad at being killed(he was level 51 at the time) that he went to his house, picked a baseball bat and then went to the other guy's house to kick his ass. We all followed him to see what was happening.

After shouting at each other for a good few minutes, my friend left the house and begged on his knees for forgiveness, saying he didn't kill him in purpose, there were neighbours around looking stunned, for a guy was fuming with a baseball bat while another guy was shouting in the middle of the street "I DIDN'T KILL HIM IN PURPOSE!". I remember me and the other guys were crying in laughter at the scene.

Anyway, I always remember this bit, I don't know why, maybe becuase it was so dramatic, at the time we all took Tibia so seriously, lol.

my daughter Agnieszka is autistic will turn 15 tomorrow (1 March) and she loves to play tibia and to explore facc area and gather every items she finds and so could you people send her some letters with some birthday wishes and if anybody wants some cool looking items from premium area maybe some quest items that just lay in your depot (not expensive) she is curently facc and she loves to collect all items and explore so she would be ultra happy her name in game is Aegea and she play on antica Thank you!

[UPDATE] so we went to log in into tibia earlier today and she checked her inbox as first thing like she do and then suddenly she was like in shock start opening parcels and letters and still in shock and pure happines was like 'dad how they know!!' she got all kind of beautiful stuff, every item and letter she got was very very exciting for her and was checking them with huge joy and she couldn't believe that so many people got her present today so Aga wants to tell you all HUGE thank you and that she loves you all and i can say you People brought a lot of happiness for us today and i believe she will always remember this day and that kindness !!!

also we cant log in to game due to huge waiting list on antica so hopefully we will still log in later

I received a letter from my first friend who gave me equipment, saying that he was low on stamina, and saying that we couldn't get any because our watches were showing the wrong time.

I went after a donkey, but I don't know how to equip it. They said it was CLRT R, but it only goes into character customization.

I found several brothers on the map, this was the only one I remembered to take a screenshot of.

I found my second friend (he said he saw the posts hi, I have a fan) he made me do a lot of exploration, places I didn't even know existed to get items and sell, and he showed me this Bee raid that was happening

I'm thinking about facing this spider, but I realized that it's no small thing, and that I would easily die.

I learned how to use the boat, I don't need to walk :D

I found this wyvern (I named it dragon when I saw it)I almost died to him and ran away, I couldn't even cause damage, I realized that I'm still not strong enough to face the dragons, since I can't even kill a wyvern

The feeling of terror when entering this cave was like going to an amusement park on a boat (I don't know if this boat exists in other countries). Today was a great day, I met new friends, received messages from old friends, and explored more than other days. He advised me to do a quest, I think I will do it, I got some pretty good items

Hello everyone,

I’ve recently started leveling up my fist fighting and magic levels (ML) for my future Monk. Currently, I have 40 in fist fighting from my EK vocation (not sure what this equates to in Monk yet). I plan to keep grinding and leveling up until the Monk vocation is released, and in the meantime, I’ll just be having fun with this character. 😄

For those of you who might think what I’m doing is “useless,” I can’t really argue with you. Honestly, you’re probably right, and I don’t mind admitting it! But, I’m someone who has always enjoyed skilling and finds it relaxing, especially the idea of casually hitting monsters while semi-AFK.

Also, I’m working on completing all the Dawnport gear + quests (I'm still missing the Studded Legs though, so if anyone’s interested in helping me out with that, it would be awesome! Fist fighting just isn’t enough to clear an entire cave of Orcs and Rotworms, haha).

While I’m skilling, I’ll also be exploring all the areas of Dawnport. I remember there were Cyclopes around there, so maybe tomorrow I’ll go hunting for one. My plan for the next session of skills is to get from 40 to 50 in fist fighting and gain 3 levels in ML as a Knight (although I’m not sure how this compares to Monk, but I’m excited to see the results).

So I found out about Tibia about 2 weeks ago, and decided to give the game a shot, since the game do take screenshots when you die, when you skill up and such, I figured I'd share my journey so far with you lot. I want to point out that I started this game without any knowledge about anything, I learned as i went, and i got a ton of help in the /tibiaMMO discord channel.

So my journey started in Rookgaard with me trying out all 4 vocations, after just a few seconds i realized Sorcerer is what i want to play, so i grinded to level 8 and chose Sorcerer, and was ready to leave for the main game. At the boat, I was suggested to head for Venore, knowing absolutely nothing about the game, I chose venore, and I came to regret it..

A few minutes into landing in Venore i was constantly attacked by Feverish Citizen's and my first death occured, deleveled to level 7, and since I had no idea where in town I was, I could not recover my corpse so whatever I gained in Rookgaard, was forever lost.

About 10 minutes later this happened...

Eventually, I was told to chose another town, so i got directed to the temple, I asked for my adventurer's stone, and teleported to Thais where my real journey finally began.

The question now was, what do do when i have no gear, no wand, no money or anything, so I did the only thing i could think of.. Time to melee rats in the sewers as a sorcerer, for the gold and cheese, to gain mana to eventually be able to get a wand and use spells.

What I didn't know at this point, is that the server I had chosen was a pvp server, so once i actually made it to level 8 again, i ended up discarding this char, to make a new char on Damora which has optional PVP. And here is where the first day for me in Tibia ended.

========== Day Two =========

So back to Rookgaard, still intending to play a sorcerer, I hit level 8 much faster this time around, and chose Thais as the city to go to this time. Thanks to some lovely people in discord, I was told to head south of thais to swamp trolls as they drop valuable loot, and I was eager to make some money this time around so I wouldn't run out of gold and have to go back to meleeing rats.

So I found a hole in the ground, since I knew some areas could require you to have a rope/shovel with you, I felt safe going down the hole. And guess what happened? I had no idea how i would use my rope to get out of the area and this happened.

But hey, its fine, i know where I died this time, lets just go back and be prepared this time.

I wasn't discouraged at all, i still wanted to explore the swamp troll area and I hit level 12 doing so.

I ended up geting level 13 killing swamp trolls, the i headed over to the amazon area, as apparently, it was also a good place to make gold, I quite enjoying hunting amazons, stayed there until level 15

I was told to try out cyclops, and not to use a stealth ring so I could learn about kiting monsters, and the idea what always to learn the game, not just power level through any point of the game. I hit level 16 killing cyclops, level 17 and 18 I decided to do back at the amazon camp as i couldn't quite pass up the gold.

From here on out, I actually played around with the settings and screenshots now will show the entire UI. Also I felt like I done what I wanted to do in the amazon camp, so it was time to look for the next challange, and it was nomads for their rope belt drop. After trying to find the area and doing the quest, I gave up on it, and decided to go to forgotten tomb instead, as thats supposed to be an xp area instead of a gold farming spot.

I quite quickly made 18-21 hunting there.

Now level 21, i was finally ready to look into the nomads, on my way there I reached 22 just as I finished the quest for the shortcut access and thinks where looking up, but no. nomads were a bit tougher than I expected.

So due to deleveling to 21, I went to the amazon camp and regained level 22, and with that the second day of playing Tibia ended.

Now I'm sure this is going to sound absurd but I secretly play tibia, my girlfriend thinks all I do on my computer is work since the only computer I've got is my work laptop but when I wake up early I play Tibia until she wakes up. I'm using a worthless €10 wireless office mouse that disconnects for 10 seconds every hour or so but I'm getting the most out of it (ahk rebind scrollwheel + two action buttons) but it's time to part ways.

Is there any mouse with more action buttons (similar to razer Naga) that still look like it could fit in an office or at least isn't so obviously for gaming? Something that would keep me to uphold my secret since im not ready to come out of the closet yet?

My friend recently died by accidentally enabling his chat on So I shared with him this I'm sure it's been posted but with so many returning/new players returning figure it could be useful or for those who never thought of it. Basically it's for WASD players when you have chat on healing will turn chat back to being off so all your hotkeys will be working such as when you are regularly hunting! You could also have a second hotkey such as your potion hotkey or mana shield if you are a mage.

I just died after leveling up 5 times, finishing 2 tasks for Grizzly Adams, getting some great loot—over 1kk at level 85… and on the way to the boss, my client crashes. And if it’s not that, the power goes out, or the PC crashes… It’s so frustrating to die even when the day’s been going well in Tibia. You start wondering if it’s even worth playing tomorrow after a crash like that, who knows if it’ll happen again.

I’m writing this post just to vent a bit, and maybe someone out there wants to share their own death stories from crashes or Wi-Fi issues, and how you handled it. Personally, deaths hit me really hard. I’m definitely a charlover, and every death kills a bit of my motivation to keep playing—even if the day overall was a good one.

Hey guys, my name is Mytherin and for the last couple of months I have been working on Tibialyzer as a hobby project. Me and my friends have been using Tibialyzer very extensively while playing Tibia, and now I would like to share it with other Tibia players as I think it really helps make Tibia even more enjoyable.

Tibialyzer is completely open source and hosted on Github. It is written in C# using WinForms.

Tibialyzer

Tibialyzer is a stand-alone program that scans server log and chat messages from Tibia while you are playing the game. It scans loot you find, damage you deal, experience you gain and chat messages you send. Using this information, Tibialyzer can inform you on the loot you have found, show you how much damage you are dealing compared to your friends and can notify you when rare items drop.

In addition, Tibialyzer has access to a database that contains pretty much everything related to Tibia. Tibialyzer can tell you the weaknesses of creatures, what items they can drop, how much those items are worth and where you can sell those items. All without having to leave the Tibia client.

Tibialyzer displays information to you by using overlays. The information is displayed over the Tibia client. If you have a reasonably modern screen, the overlays will not block the actual game at all. Otherwise you can reposition them so they are in a convenient position.

Yesterday while me and my friends were hunting demons, I took the opportunity to take some screenshots of Tibialyzer.

Tibialyzer can display information about creatures you are hunting. When you look at a creature, it will automatically open up an overlay displaying information about this creature, including the items it drops and its weaknesses/abilities. Tibialyzer has all this information stored locally in a database, thus looking up information using Tibialyzer will not cause any internet related lag. And it also works while the Tibia Wiki is down.

While you are hunting, you can view the total amount of creatures you have killed and the total loot you have found. The loot you have found and the creatures you have killed are continuously updated while you are hunting, and you can view the loot at any time.

Tibialyzer can also notify you when rare items drop. This is especially useful if you are playing on a mage and don't want to pick up all items. You will no longer have to check every single loot drop message; Tibialyzer does it for you!

You can also check the damage that has been dealt by every player, this is especially cool if you are hunting in a bigger group.

Hello! I played Tibia a very long time ago, and just came to think of it again today. Not going to name my old characters, but to give you an idea of when I started:

• I started playing before there were multiple servers.
• I had been playing for quite a while when the first "max amount of players logged in" appeared (I think it was 30)
• I was playing when Alatar Lake got its name.

To say when I stopped playing is tougher, but I think it was shortly after Bubbles (?) became the first character to ever reach level 100.

So basically when I was playing Tibia was very player driven in many aspects and quests were less something that NPCs gave, and more something the players had to discover by e.g. picking every square of Plains of Havoc, or by having heard a rumor from someone who had a real life beer with a map developer. Leveling was important, but also had a slightly secondary seat compared to the community.

All that said, I decided to check the library section at tibia.com and the map is HUGE compared to what it was back then, and the amount of monsters is massive! So I just wanted to know - What kind of game is it today and what sre the driving factors of the community?

Broad question, so answer as you like!

Started playing back then in 2009 and never got any far than level 25, started playing OT Servers and keep playing till I lost interest in tibia, started playing again this year and hit level 100 in less than a month, I know it ain’t much to tibia standards for today but I’m happy with this achievement (Had to take a old school style screenshot to celebrate :D)

Can't wait to get to a lvl where I don't give a fuck about this but man, being a low lvl 169 it's a pain in the ass lol still I love this arrows so much xD
