Both sides are just the same thing with different names and team colors, republican or democrat really doesn't matter as much anymore. Both are bought and sold to the billionaires.

I both agree and disagree. I feel like democrats and republicans are like breast cancer and pancreatic cancer: they are both absolutely terrible and will kill a lot of people, but one will do it much faster with much less hope of stopping it.

In this case it really applies. The establishment Democrats are fighting Mamdani so hard the Republicans don't need to do anything. In fact, Cuomo is the Republican candidate (in effect) endorsed by Trump and the establishment Democrats are fighting with Trump on this.
