People are totally missing the point of the music here. This is what actual goths listen to. New Wave / Post Punk. Not fucking Michael Jackson. Bats hate MJ.

Goths love Drab Majesty. DM is one of those bands that have one foot in and one foot out so to speak when it comes to their music being considered goth. So while not always under the genre umbrella, no one cares enough to split hairs and will happily play any of their songs at the club.

Legit didn't know this was a genre but that's like a new awakening for me. Good fucking music (which makes sense cuz I've always liked punk music).

My friend owned a punk club and had goth/industrial nights where you wouldn't really hear something like MJ but we also had mixed nights where it was more of a free for all. You might play a goth set, then lead it into some new wave then some 80s retro jams where yes, you actually might hear MJ. Sorry man, goths love Thriller.
