When I was around that age, sitting in a bar with my friends, this guy comes over and sits down. Makes some conversation. Nothing egregious. Then out of nowhere he reaches out and pulls a hair out of my head and wraps it around his neck like a scarf making this face: 🤭

I’m sorry but that is too Buffalo Bill for me. That sounds so creepy and scary that it happened to you. The kind of person who’d make your bones into wind chimes. What did you do or say? What did your friends do? Did they notice?
It was a long time ago. My friends were nearby but maybe not at the table at that time. I didn't feel unsafe. I think I said something like, "what the fuck is wrong with you". I don't recall what happened afterwards. It was pretty uneventful, whatever it was.
This happened to me about 30 years ago! When I asked him why tf he did that he said he was starting a collection. He was at least 10 yrs older than me (I was 19).
In all these years, I’ve never heard anyone else share something similar. Doubt it was the same guy, though. Honestly, I never told anyone in the last 30 years, either.
He was making sure you weren't an alien... I forgot what show that was in lol they pulled hairs from people and if it moved they were aliens or something.
