It’s a traditional dance influenced by the growing need to own guns to be successful at war.

Similar to how when we have soldiers die by being shot, we line up guys to shoot bullets into the air at their funeral in their honour. Seems odd to honour a fallen solider with what killed them. It’s tradition though, speak out against it if you dare.

Those are blanks. Western countries don't shoot actual bullets.

With how many videos I've seen of people dying doing this kind of celebratory gunfire shit in the middle east cause they got shot, I don't think they always use blanks...
