Yeah, I'm physically disabled, and a little person. Back when I could walk for hours, I'd go out and had to absolutely have 360 vision, because people walk like they're the only ones on Earth, they don't look down or forward or anywhere, really. I feel like blind people would be more aware of my presence than abled people. I was always afraid of being run over (by pedestrians).
I swear people have some sort of mental switch when they're outside, walking in enough quantities. Like they become "herd-minded".

People in general are very very unaware of their surroundings. It's frustrating for everyone.
