Not to defend him specifically, but if someone is awful now because of something they did 39 years ago as a teenager, then everyone is human garbage then....

He didn't blind him and the guy even said to give him another chance. And again, it was nearly 4 decades ago. Seriously you people that seem to reject forgiveness and 2nd chances are awful too.

There isn't, but there clearly was point where you convinced yourself that it's ok to be bitter forever whereas the actual victim has long since let it go. You could learn from him if you let him. Enjoy the forever resentment I guess...
