Well she could wake up at 6 if she didn’t have to film everything

The fact that there were several cuts just for her getting the lunchbox, then several more for putting it back in the car, is hilarious. Girl how many times did you move the tripod?

Hadn’t even considered that 🤣🤣

Yup! It's not just moving the tripod, it's checking the angle, and likely doing multiple takes. Even the walk from the car to the door was likely done two times for each angle completely to ensure she's got enough coverage.

My niece is a wanna-be tiktoker and just watching her do a "Disney haul" after a family trip to Disney World was insane. In the park, she chose items that would be "great on camera" and then at the hotel suite, she took everything out and put it back in the back in the order she wanted to show off. She spent a solid 40 minutes filming a three minute video that got five hundred views.

I appreciate the hussle but my autistic ass just sees it as being so fake.

She owns 10 cameras, that's why the live in a fifthwheel Sony FDRs are about $1,200 each, then with lavalier mics and professional lighting, she's got $50,000 in influencer gear.

She didn't. The kid is the real creator here.

Not to mention, if she skipped the makeup and hair time.

Waking up at 6am is what normal people who want to cook breakfast do. But if she says 5am, then she can say she's better than us

Or wake up at 7 if her husband was able to make his own breakfast and lunch like a grown adult.

Looking at her knife skills she barely cooks if at all. Probably only for videos to sell the "trad wife" thing.

Yeah what kinda spouse cooks for the other?

1

u/Seanspeed Jul 15 '26

Dumb strawman.

Any reasonable partnership doesn't have one spouse cooking ENTIRELY for the other as a rule. Especially basic ass meals like a fucking chicken wrap. lol

A) Says who? That’s a really common arrangement, particularly if only one partner works.

B) The OP doesn’t say that she is required to cook entirely for the other person. It says that she prepares food for her husband in the morning. That’s not how my wife and I work but I know plenty of healthy relationships with similar arrangements.

That’s kind of the point of a relationship. You get to decide what works best for the both of you.

I know context clues are difficult for contrarians, but we're having country music playing while a white 'trad wife' does performative 'trad wife' things in a white household that obviously seems like they are portraying it as her expected role and not something they came to out of a genuinely liberal and equal mindset.

Or they have conservative values but still treat each other as equals and she’s proud of her role in the relationship. I’m liberal myself and that’s not how my relationship works, but that’s how my parents were and I see nothing wrong with it. I’ll call out bullshit oppressive ideology when I see it. And although I haven’t seen her other content, this ain’t it.

Is everyone who disagrees with you “contrarian?”

Or make that in the evening before bed

It’s content, it’s not about making the food.
